I like to have an alarm clock available in each of the bedrooms for when guests visit. This little clock does not have the bells and whistles on it that some time pieces do, but it gets the job done. The face is lit up with red, digital lettering, so it can easily be seen in the dark. The time and alarm are both very easy to set and the alarm button is fairly large making it easy to distinguish it from the other buttons when still in that groggy waking stage. The alarm itself is noisy enough that it will wake a sleeping person and it does not shut off until the button is pushed to shut it off. The alarm has an on/off switch that can be utilized if it is just to be used as a clock only. This clock has proven to be very dependable. It is over seven years old and I have had no issues with it at all. It keeps good time. I can recommend this clock as a very useful and economical tool for use as an alarm clock.
