If you are looking for an economical coffee pot you can't go wrong with this West Bend 12-Cup Coffee Maker. The first thing I noticed about this coffee maker was the space saving feature it had due to the design. It took up less counter space than other 12 cup coffee makers I had in the past. The next thing I noticed about this coffee maker was the cord was long enough to give me options of placement on my counter tops, yet not too long where it would get in the way causing a hazard. The water reservoir indicator is easy to see,easy to read. The top on the water reservoir flips up easily and stays up while you are filling it. The carafe is very durable with an attached flip top lid that is easily workable with one finger or thumb while pouring coffee. The lid also stays in place when pouring coffee. The handle is sturdy yet not bulky. The switch is durable and easy to use with a simple one touch finger flip to the off or on position. I like the fact the switch indicates red when it is on and brewing or warming the coffee.

Just place several tea bags into container and it will brew them just like coffee grounds. Brew Performance Brews quickly and quietly and gets no grounds in pitcher when brewing. Ease of Cleaning Can place parts in dishwasher when needed if so desired. Ease of Use Just place grounds in filter in container; fill water reservoir to desired level; turn on and only wait a few minutes for coffee to brew. Design Very simple design and compact size. Durability With proper handling and care it should last many years
