Another three point sweet treat from Weight Watchers and probably my second favorite Weight Watchers dessert right behind the chocolate chip cookie dough sundae. With Weight Watchers its all about the size of the portion, so this little bit of good from Smart Ones is no different and is supremely worth it. The little slice of shortcake is perfectly paired with the goodness of plump juicy strawberries in their own sweet syrup topped off with rich delicious whipped cream. So good, it is better than best! I love these. They are the perfect size to enjoy, but not to overindulge and for only three measly points they are well worth their value in point! I simply cannot resist so I get these whenever I can. I enjoy them and I am sure you will enjoy these too. They are a perfectly satisfying way to break or cap off a meal. They are light and really are great for the taste and the three points they cost to enjoy.

So the Strawberry Shortcake is great with a warm cup of coffee.  It is unfortunate that it is four points.  That is a lot of points for what you get.  When I'm not in the mood for chocolate though, then I go for one of these shortcakes.  The whipped cream is actually quite good.  Yes, these desserts are a little spendy, but for the points and portion size they really control my intake. I'd eat way more if it were up to me.

As a woman who follows the Weight Watchers plan, I'm always looking for points-friendly foods that will fit easily into my day. The Smart Ones Strawberry Shortcake does just that. While it is a little high in points for a snack, this little dessert is the perfect end to a busy day and lets me feel like I am still eating a "treat." I can eat it and know that I am not consuming an entire days worth of points in one snack. The Strawberry Shortcake dessert is yummy!

***Quick View: ***These are low calorie sweet treats that taste good but are bordering on too much fat for a small snack.***About Weight Watchers - Smart Ones Strawberry Shortcake*** These snacks are frozen and come two to a package. They have a yellow sponge cake bottom, strawberries, and a ribbon of whipped cream on them. They can be set in the fridge or on the counter to thaw or thawed in the microwave. They are tasty but somewhat small. I don't feel quite satisfied when I am done eating one. Most importantly is the nutritional info. There are 170 calories in each shortcake which is fine but there is also six grams of fat in each one. That's high for a small light snack. There is a bit of protein - 4 grams - and not much else in the way of vitamins and minerals. There is only a touch of fiber and a lot of sugar and carbs. They taste OK but I just don't feel these shortcakes are worth wasting 170 calories and a whopping 6 grams of fat on more than occasionally. I would be more tolerant if they filled me up and satisfied me but I want BOTH of the little cakes in the box and that would be a dietary disaster. These are decent as an occasional snack for me but I wouldn't eat them often. There are healthier and more filling snacks that taste as good or better. ***My Viewpoint*** I am going to recommend these with the caveat that you realize that the fat is pretty high for a diet snack. If you have some calories and fat left over at the end of the day, this shortcake is tasty. However, if you are watching your weight or cholesterol, these are best eaten very occasionally. ***3 stars.***

I tried this dessert and found that it is just as good to taste as it looks on the box! I could eat this even when not trying to diet! I keep it in the freezer and eat it frozen (that slows me down so I don't eat it too fast!) and each bite is delicious! I just wish it could be larger and contain the same point value! I tried to defrost it in the microwave once but didn't think it tasted as good that way so frozen it is...I have a box in my freezer right now and am thinking of going and getting one right now! I like just about all of the Smart Ones meals and desserts that I have tried so far. For taste and cost Smart Ones has Nutrisystem beat by a long shot!

**Weight Watchers - Smart Ones Strawberry Shortcake was ok but it was not the best. It was a bit dry.I would of liked it to be more mosit and wet.the strawberryies were a bit dry and so was the bread. For the amount of fat in it it was kind of small as well. I was very sweet though which is what I love. It is a good snack for once in a while and its sonething different from the usual chocoloate they usually have out,its about all you can find. I wont be eating this every day but i probably will have one once or twice a month.**

Weight watchers strawberry shortcake is ok..its very inexpensive and great for a snack, the bad thing is it leaves a weird film in your mouth..I am not sure what this is. I dont buy this one any more because of that. Its a great price you can usually catch it on sale for about .99-1.99 according to the store you shop at.  Try it and see what you think it taste good just has a weird after taste.

Eat healthy, watch what you eat and always exercise.  I like buying the strawberry shortcakes because they taste great and you can eat them whenever you want. I haven't seen them in stores lately, I hope they sell more of them.  I also like that they come two in a box.

The thing I like about Weight Watchers Smart Ones Strawberry Shortcake is that it is different than most of the other 'light' frozen desserts out there. Most of the others revolve around chocolate (trust me, I'm not complaining!) so it is nice to have a change of pace every once in a while. This treat does have a good flavor, but the texture is a bit off on my opinion. The cake is a little dry and the strawberries and cool whip aren't as smooth as you might expect. That being said, I would still recomend this if you like the flavor combination of strawberry shortcake. It is a nice treat every once in a while. This treat also has one more point than some of the others so I don't get it very often for that reason as well. You would think it has less since it has fruit! :) It has that summer flavor that takes me way back. That is something I think the Weight Watchers line is very good at - bringing you foods that you love while letting you still lose weight.****

weight watchers-smart ones strawberry shortcake is one of the best "diet" desserts that i have ever tried.just pop it in the microwave for a few seconds to defrost and you have a yummy,quick treat.if you're craving something sweet,this will stop the craving.i love the strawberry topping and the shortcake bottom.just the right amount of sweet.they come two to a package,so you can share,or save one for later.they are small in size,so if you want something more than a couple of bites,then that would be a con.but it's great for a small snack.
