The Waring Professional Blender is a very powerful product. It has a nice cutter in the bottom and enough power to handle any blending needs. I use it for several blending jobs around the kitchen and it has performed admirably in all of them. It is quite noisy when operating on difficult food items but that is to be expected. This is not a complaint since it blends these items so quickly, the noise does not last long.
