I have cut the hair of many men in my family with these clippers and I am amazed to think how much money has been saved. This clipper pays for itself as long as you can get 2 cuts out of it and I have gotten a full years worth of cuts. The men whose hair I cut liked to get their hair done ever 4ish weeks and that cost adds up so fast if you go to a barber! These clippers are easy to use, cut the hair cleanly and evenly, and leave a great looking haircut. They come with all the different sized guides you would need to cut many different lengths of hair. One person likes me to use the 2 shortest guides and I feel like I am almost balding him, while the largest (8) gives a longer length cut. They glide easily through the hair and I love how short they are able to go to trim down around the neck and ears. Make sure to oil the blades, it will last longer I am very happy with this purchase and even if they only last a couple years will repurchase since they pay for themselves so quickly.

The Wahl Hair Trimmer works as well as one might expect. It trims hair with ease and comes with several attachments length attachments so you can choose the length you want or do blends. Having a cord on it is only a slight issue and as long as you are close to an outlet shouldn't be much of an issue. As with any hair trimmer you are more then likely going to have a few stray hairs that avoided being trimmed on the first pass but once you go over those areas again you should be fine. The attachments pop on and off with ease, the trimmer has a blade adjustment and power switch making it quite simple to use. The Wahl Hair Trimmer comes with a little bottle of oil to apply to the blade to help maintain it's the life of the trimmer and has instructions on how to apply. Overall the price just really can't be beat for everything you are getting this little kit will save you a ton of money down the road. It pays for itself after just two haircuts.

I got this for my boyfriend for a birthday present. He was always complaing about what a rip off it is to go to a salon ajust to get a little trim and clean his neck. So I picked this up and read the box. It looked like anyone caould matter this, I had never cut anyones hair before and I used the tools to give him trims and chave / ckean his neck .The pieces where labed clearly and fit together nicely. They made it easy for me to undersatnad and use it on him. After a while I got the hang og it and I started giving him really nice hair cuts. He hasnt been to a salon or barber in over three years!!! All the pieces and designed to cut different sections and lengths of hair and the instructions are clear and bascially tell you what to do. THey even came with a little brush to clean the hiar out of the trimmer when you were done. Easy to clean and to use. Great resultsm great product!!!!!!!!!!

I used this trimmer several times in trying to cut my own hair and I had my wife try to cut my hair one time, but it ended up beinga buzz cut.  She got started and didn't know how to finish.  I think this is a great product for beginners, but you may want to attach a small or short dvd that explains how to cut hair and not cut hair, because when I first started I had no clue what I was doing, and wife completely hacked up my head.  The trimmer does pull your hair more than a barbers grade clippers would, and it has gotten progressively worse as I use it more and more, but I somewhat think that is my fault for not cleaning it as well as it might require, but again that is something that I'm not really sure how to because it is so different and hair is everywhere on the trimmer when I'm done.  I typically just brush it off when I'm done and put it back.  I know that there is a little piece of paper in there that is supposed to tell you how to cut it on, but that's the easy part, just plug it in and flip the switch.

I got this clipper kit about a year ago to cut my husband and son's hair.  I had never cut anybody's hair prior to this purchase.  I pulled up some videos online and watched a few tutorials, and got to it.  It turns out that cutting mens/boys hair, at least the basic cut with clippers, is REALLY EASY.  And to think we've been paying for it all of this time.  This comes with the big clipper, which does a really great job.  It has a long cord and isn't all that loud - my 3 year old can tolerate the volume with no problem.  There are little plastic length guards that you clip on the end and just buzz away.  There are lots of different choices in these provided, plus the head moves forward and back so you can get the 1/2 sizes if you need them. The little edging clippers this kit comes with are terrible.  It runs on a AA battery, but it really isn't very powerful.  This kit also comes with a pair of crappy scissors, but save your sanity and buy a real pair for clipping bangs.

I've been using this hair trimmer for about a year now and it's performing as well as ever.  I mainly use it to cut my father's hair every couple of weeks.  The great selection of clip-on attachments for different cutting lengths allow me to be pretty precise and get the job done as intended.  I'm able to create good layering even when cutting hair to very short lengths.  The look and feel of the trimmer are very natural.  It's a good shape which helps in feeling a natural flow when cutting.  I also like the cord length.  It's not too short to limit reaching and it's not too long to where it ends up getting caught in your feet and becomes a tripping hazard.  The scissors that come with the set are nice and sharp and the brush for whiping the hair off the trimmer is a great additional inclusion.  Trust me, if you want a hair trimmer that gets the job done with no frills or nonsense then this is the choice for you.

       **Wahl 79524-1001 Hair Trimmer does work wonderfully,  the only issue is you get the same quality in other, cheaper trimmers.  The pricing seems to be because of the name.  It does work great but it is costly and dosent last as long as other trimmers.  I have had to many issues with this to recommend it to anyone.  **

I use to shave with razors in order to get a close shave but my face would end up irritated and bumped up. Whenever I would get a haircut, my barber would use hair trimmers to shave me and I noticed the difference right away. My face wasn't irritated and I didn't have those unsightly bumps. I asked my barber what brand of trimmers he uses and he told me that he use wahl. I immediately went to Sallys beauty supply store and bought a pair of **Wahl 79524-1001 Hair Trimmers. The price was reasonable and I was satisfied with the results. The only set back I have is that I don't get that close shave that I got with a razor. Other than that, I'm satisfied with this product and I recommend it to anybody who suffer from razor bumps and skin irritation like I do.**
