All Wen's products are really good. This scent is mild but refreshing. i usually mix it with the lavender conditioning cleanser and I find the two scents as well as conditioning systems worked well together with my hair as lavender and cucumber promotes hair growth and hair manageability. Again, I can't give it 10 pts because of the price, it is a bit steep especially if u're a student like I was when i was using it. But my hair definitely felt more luscious and I certainly had faster hair growth with this product from having damaged hair from chemical treatments every month. I have read reviews that more ethnic people have not had much success with the product but I think it is because they weren't massaging well into their hair as well as not using enough of the product. If you have thick curly hair, or long thick hair you need to use at least 3/4 of the bottle or the whole bottle to get your hair thoroughly cleansed, by really working the product into you hair and rinsing and apply again massaging well through the scalp to the ends. So if u're only using a 1/4 of the bottle or 1/2 and have given it bad reviews because u find that your hair is still oily or greasy then you know the real reason why. All the ingredients are excellent for skin and hair. The only thing is you have to use a lot of it as it does not lather.

I use this and a couple other of the Wen conditioners off and on for a few months. I never seemed to get the results others did. Then I rewatched the video and realized I wasn't really adding much water, and I wasn't repeating. Once I did both...I saw stunning results. My hair is softer, easier to style, thicker, and the color is crazy! I was coloring my hair about every 4 weeks, and never pleased with it. Once I stopped using shampoo and was using Wen...my natural color was perfect. No need to add color, and the texture was amazing and my natural color was deeper, richer and more intense. Every one has commented on my hair the last few weeks. I am over the moon.

I absolutely love my Wen Cucumber & Aloe Conditioning Cleanser. I have very fine, mildly color treated, thin, wavy, frizzy hair that is nearly to my waist. It is an odd combination for hair & difficult to tame and make beautiful. I have tried so  many different shampoos & conditioners over the years. Usully my favorites get discontinued or re-vamped ie) made worse for my hair combination. I had been using Shear Splendor from Philosophy (great stuff but my hair was getting immune it seemed). SS was making my hair fuzzy & dull so I decided to use my Cucumber Aloe Wen as a mask. I slather it on my wet hair then wrapped it in a towel for about an hour. I had used Wen in the past but it always seemed to be way too heavy for my hair so I tossed the bottle in my closet and forgot about it. Well this time I waited the hour then rinsed the Wen out of my hair. I rinsed and rinsed and rinsed and rinsed some more. I used cool water instead of the warm to hot I usually used. I did my final rinse the coldest water from the tap. Then I added one pump as leave in conditioner carefully applying it from mid shaft to the ends. Then I towel dried and combed my hair. I hate blow dryers so I let my hair air dry and when I looked in the mirror I was astonished. My hair was shiny, a bit bouncy and no frizz in sight. I loved it. I figured this was going to be a one time deal, a try it & you will love it ~ for a wash or two then the true colors show type deal. That almost always happen to me, even when using a clarifing shampoo every week. Well I am excted to say that I have been using Wen almost exclusively (with no product after the shower) for over a month and my hair is still shiny, frizz free and just a bit bouncy ~ just the way I like it. I still use a clarifying shampoo every couple of weeks then use the Wen as the leave in after the wash. I can't ask for a better way to wash my hair. If you have tried Wen in the past and it didn't work for you, don't give up yet!. You have to find the right amount of pumps of the conditioning cleanser for your hair type and make sure to rinse rinse rinse with cool water. This is amazing stuff, just give it a chance. I did and I couldn't be happier with the results.

I've always been curious about Wen Cleansing Conditioner but was unwilling to pay the high price just to try it.  I was excited when I received a 6oz bottle of the Cucumber Aloe variety for a very reduced price in a sample box I had ordered.  Although I had very high hopes it would give me the soft and easy to manage hair promised, I really noticed no difference from the results I get from my usual shampoo.  I also found Wen very time-consuming to use and terribly over-priced considering the large amount of product you must use each time.  This wasn't the formula I would have chosen for my hair type if I had been given the option, so perhaps that would make a difference.  But I still don't think it would ever be a good value for me.

I was impressed with this product and the way it left my hair and scalp both clean and non oily.  This product is a very thick cream and does not lather.  It goes on and gets combed in and left for approximately five minutes. It rinses out taking a bit longer than shampoo and leaves the scalp tingling.  It is a good feeling. I put a dollop back in after rinsing to help with conditioning and managability.  I really loved the way my hair felt after styling and definitly felt that my hair was in better condition.  I did run into a problem using this product though.  I found my hair did not stay clean as long as I would have liked.  The following day I could skip 'washing' but by the end of the day my hair was quite oily.  This conditioner is quite expensive and using it is more time consuming than regular washing. For these reasons I felt it was important to at least have my hair clean for two to three days.  There are other types of this conditioner the Wen offers and I am in the process of seeing if one of these may work better with my type of hair.  My hair and scalp has always been oily and even at my age I still have a problem with that.
