So many uses

5

WD-40 has been around for ages. I grew up with my dad always having it around using it for who knows what. It's a lubricating product that has about a thousand different uses. You can use this product to loosen bolts that are rusted on. It fixes creaky door hinges. It gets rid of sticky residue that is left over by tape or stickers. I've heard people use it on their cows to keep flies off of them. Lubricate guitar strings. The list goes on. You simply spray it on the surface and you're good to go. The product now comes with a "smart straw" that you don't have to worry about losing like you used to. Problem with that is if it breaks off you're kind of out of luck. So it has it's good and bad things. A lot of people don't like the scent of the WD40 but I actually do. Does that seem weird? It does have a very strong smell and needs to be used in a ventilated area. I highly recommend this product, it's very versatile!

Great Product to Have on Hand

5

WD-40 is a product that I always have on hand for the occasional times that something in my home needs to be lubricated. I have mainly used WD-40 to easily grease squeaky door hinges, my refrigerator door hinges, my garage door wheels that are in the track, the chain on my garage door openers, and bicycle chains. It always comes in handy and quickly solves my problems. Performance WD-40 is an oily spray that is very easy to use. It is very similar to using a cooking spray, but made with different ingredients and has a powerful jet spray. You can also buy it with a thin straw attachment that allows the spray to come out in a thin stream rather than the normal broad area spray. After using this product, I do find that I have excess oil that will sometimes drip. I make sure I have a paper towel with me whenever I use WD-40 to clean up the excess oil. This product works well every time. The sprayer does not get clogged and the product adequately lubricates and fixes my problems. Scent The scent of WD-40 is OK. It definitely has a scent or odor, but it is not offensive or too strong. I only use it once in a while, so the scent is not something that would influence me in any way.

WD-40 Spray Can

5

This product is well worth the cost. The can is just the right size. The top is easy to take off and put back on. This product is an absolute gem to have on hand. I have lost count of the many different ways I have used this spray. In my home I have used it to remove gum in the carpet and on clothing. Spray it on, let it set for a few minutes and scrape residue away with a blunt knife. I have also used this spray to remove paint, rubber cement and grime from my hands. It doesn't irritate my skin. I have sprayed it on my car door hinges and locks to keep them moving freely and to keep them from freezing up in the winter time. I love the little red tube that comes with the can. When you put the red tube into the hole on the nozzle, it turns the spray into a pin point spray that makes it really easy to get into hard to reach places. I also use this spray on my sliding windows, screens, vertical blinds and apartment door hinges. the only drawback is the scent. It does smell a little like the odors you would find in a garage, but it dissipates quickly.

The all around fixing lubricant

W D 40 has so many amazing uses that it could be used for. I used W D 40 to fix my rocker chair that was squeaking all the time. The can has a unique long nozzle that the product is dispensed from. I oiled the joints where the chair was creaking, and instantly the noise goes away! I also use W D 40 to lubricate other and prevent rust for the tools that I have. My tools are over ten years old and W D 40 makes them work like new. I also use this to remove crayon from the walls. I could not believe that W D 40 can remove this, but it works like a charm when my toddler accidentally uses crayons on the wall. I also use it to soften the leather furniture in my house. My furniture looks brand new. Another surprising use is when my son gets blocks stuck together. W D 40 helps un stick them in no time. This product pays for itself over and over again.I recommend to everyone to keep a can of W D 40 in the house, because you will never know when you may need it. Scent No scent

Lubricates just about anything

I have been using WD-40 Spray for my entire life and can't see myself not using it. I have used this spray on bike chains, exercise equipment, door hinges, office chairs, and scuff marks. This spray really does a nice job of lubricating an office chair. All I have to do is flip the chair over and spray the main joints and it instantly stops any squeaking. When spraying a squeaky door hinge it only takes a couple of squirts and the door moves so effortlessly without a sound. When I have scuff marks on my floor I spray a couple of drops on the affected area and wipe it away with ease. What I notice when I did this is that it made my floor shine like it was just waxed. What made this great was that it didn't leave the floor slippery like floor waxes. The only downside to this product is that it has a very intoxicating smell like gasoline. I don't mind the smell, but I no it can't be good to breath in too much. I would definitely recommend WD-40 Spray to anyone looking for a lubricate that can be applied to just about anything and will yield excellent results for a long period of time.

I really like using the WD-40!

The WD-40 product can be used for so many things. It works well on squeaky door hinges, things that are stuck, on cars, rusty objects, tools, bikes, and more. I have even heard of people using this product on guitar strings. It is pretty easy to use without a whole lot of mess. I like the spray can. It makes it easy and fast. It is also fairly inexpensive to buy. It is a decent price for a good product. The smart straw that now comes with the WD-40 is handy to have. It makes it easier to work around certain areas. It is nice that the straw is attached and doesn't fall out. All in all this is a great product to use around the house, in the garage or anywhere. It is good to have on hand. Performance This works well on many different things. It goes on easily and is easy to use. It doesn't make a lot of mess and is easy to work with. Scent There isn't a lot of scent with this product. I can't say that I like the smell, but I don't expect much in terms of scent with something like this.

Why Re-Invent the Wheel?

5

WD-40 has been around forever! I remember busting out with it to spray on squeaky gates and door hinges, etc. We will have some around. It has a very metallic and fume-y smell but a little amount does the trick. Performance WD-40 is what we use for metal friction that needs a little greasing. One can lasts forever. Keep out of reach of children for sure and use in a well-ventilated area as the smell is as bad as paint fumes.

Great grease

5

This is the best product for greasing mechanisms. I use it to take the noises and squeaks our of doors, closet doors and anything with a squeaky or stuck hinge. I like how fast this product works for me. It is easy to spray on a small area using the red straw and after moving the door back and forth a few times to get the spray into the different parts of the hinge I have successfully removed the squeak of a stuck hinge. I do not like how messy it is though. The spray is very liquidy and easily drips onto the floor and since it's grease it is slippery and harder to wipe up completely. I like how quickly it can be applied and how fast it works. Performance Reliably fixes stuck hinges and de-squeaks doors quickly and the fix lasts a few months before needing another quick spray. Scent I hate the smell because it's very chemical smelling. It smells like a car garage. I wish they softened the scent.

Our garage staple

5

As long as I can remember my family has always had a can or two of WD40 around. My father works in construction and uses this almost weekly to keep his tools running smoothly. The winter was particularly brutal on our cars. We sprayed this on our door locks and handles and we were never frozen out. Performance We use this on all our car doors and locks as well as our bicycles. It keeps everything running smoothly and takes away all those annoying squeaks and squeals from our belts and chains. Very easy to use. Newer cans now come with a red straw attached so application can be more precise. A few sprays tends to solve most problems. I only need to spray my bicycle chain a few times during the summer. This keeps everything oiled very well. Scent Like many products for automobiles and machines this has a strong industrial odor. I would highly recommend using this in a well ventilated area. I always take my bicycle or car outside to spray this. The scent does tend to stick around the garage for a few hours so leave a door or window open.

WD-40 Spray Can - A house is not a home without it!

5

I think it would be safe to say that WD-40, is the baking soda of the garage! It has 101 uses, most of which are unusual and surprising, but amongst the predictable are stopping a door from squeaking, lubricating a hinge or car door lock which is difficult to turn. It is fantastic at breathing new life into an old bicycle chain. Amongst the unusual, I have found that it removes the sticky residue which is left by supermarket price stickers or jam jar food labels. Just spray it on, leave it a few minutes and then wipe with a damp cloth. The only detrimental thing I can say about WD-40 is the smell. It smells awful and the last thing you want is the unnecessary surrounding areas spray-lubricated! I like that it comes with a thin, red straw which enables you to spray only the area which needs spraying. Considering it is such a versatile product, it is very inexpensive. The manufacturer sees their way to placing money-off coupons in the Sunday papers and when they do, I buy two or three cans. A house is not a home without WD-40.
