My baby got the VTech Happy Lights Bear this year for Christmas. She is now 3 months old and seems to like it, especially the lights and songs when we are travelling at night in the car. She is still too uncoordinated to push the buttons herself so I have to do it for her. I think it is a simple cute toy for an older baby. The songs are fun but a little loud. I would love a volume control. It's a little tricky for a little one to use because the heart button has to be pushed before the other 3 will work. Each button has multiple words and songs it rotates through. It is marketed as an educational toy and does count to 3 although I can't imagine the baby is learning his/her numbers from this toy. The bears come in pink and blue and has a velcro loop to hang the toy. The body and buttons are hard with a soft stuffed head, arms, and legs. I would say for the price, you get a great value. This is a nice bear to have on hand when out and about to keep your little one happy.

We got the V Tech baby happy lights bear as a gift for our daughter and she loves it. It's smaller than most electronic toys (about 7 inches high), which makes it super easy to carry around and bring with us in the car when we go places. When the bear turns on , he sings a little song "I am a bear, a happy bear, a hungry bear, a sleepy bear. . ." We haven't had the bear for very long and I already have it memorized. :) It does get a little old and annoying, but my daughter loves it. The bear has three buttons on the front that say phrases, numbers, etc. There is also a little red hang tag coming out of the top of the bear. I guess you can use it to hang on the carseat or anything else. My daughter just likes to chew on it (she's 9 months old). :) It is a fun little toy. I don't think it's extremely valuable as a learning tool, but it's entertaining and does talk about being happy, sleepy, and hungry.
