I like everything about this machine, especially the durability and ability to blend anything to perfection. Blending Power Superb blending power. More powerful than a few other blenders I've own and used. Versatility The Vitamix can turn anything into liquid! It will liquify almost all fruits and vegetables, if that is the desired. It can make chunks and most anything in between liquid and chunky. Ease of Cleaning super easy to clean! No small parts to detach or hard corners to get into. Ease of Use All one would need to do is put the container on top of the power hub and blend away. The 2-speed style allows for normal or high speed choices. On normal speed there are a few variables for stronger but not pulverizing power. Which is really helpful when you don't want to liquify something. Design I find the Vitamix a little clunky. The container is a little too tall for me. Though Vitamix has invented a smaller and shorter container. Durability Bought it about 7 years ago and it is still going strong. We don't use our machine every day but I think we use it often enough to be able to determine that is more durable than most blenders out there today.

My overall rating of this is awesome! I have an older model which made me fall in love with this blender in the first place. I chose to purchase another one because of the simplicity and that it was an upgrade. I've had my old blender for 12 years. I brought that to my workplace so I can buy me a new one! Blending Power Surgical and with ease! Ease of Cleaning Very simple! All you need is some dishwasher soap and blend! Then dry and enjoy again! Ease of Use Very easy! Anyone can do it! Design It looks classy! It matches everything in my kitchen! Durability So far so good. l will be purchasing one in the next century!

I love to waste empty calories on drinks! No, but, really. I do.  I love Jamba Juice, I love Juice It Up, I love Frappacinos from Starbucks, and I love all things blended!  The Vita Mix is awesome. I finally got one in my house and I can blend everything from fruit smoothies to margheritas to my soups!  This model in particular is the commercial one which does everything that the residential does, but it holds up longer since the motor is designed for continuous use repeatedly. I love that I can make a fruit smoothie in a matter of seconds and not have to worry about my blender cutting out in the middle because the motor got too hot.  My old one did that.  And I would have to wait a good 10-15 minutes for it to cool itself down before it would let me restart it again.  Oh, and another plus is that you can tell this unit is designed for this use since it doesn't have that crazy burning plastic smell that the small dinky blenders normally do when you put ice in there due to the resistance. If you've been considering it, DO IT! You wont regret it!
