I usually use Proactiv products with my skincare regimen. When I was traveling in Europe a few years ago, I had forgotten to pack some of my usual products and needed something to basically get my face clean, especially in the hot summer sun. I purchased some Vichy products from a local pharmacy in Florence, Italy, and it happened to be Vichy. The shopkeeper didn't speak very good English, so I judged the product based on its label and that it had some English words. I have remained with the Vichy product line since then. This product is particularly good in that it isn't harsh on my skin, and it really does appear to work for my oily face. Possibly the best attribute to this product (and really all Vichy products) is the pleasant smell. Unlike some other face products that can tend to smell like medicine, this smells just clean with a slight hint of a floral scent. The great thing is that this nice smell really seems to last all day. Overall, I really like all Vichy products, and this in particular, because they work and because they are quality.

This product is awesome. Makes your skin soft without over drying. Not like other acne treatments that sucks all the moisture out of your skin. I have Rosacea and this cream doesn't make me flare up. I have used so many acne creams and they just don't work. Including proactive, Clinique, etc...I've even used la Roche posada acne stuff and it still dried me out. Although if u use it twice a day and you have dry skin, you will get a little dry so I basically only use it at night Effectiveness I saw results in one week. First application made my skin soft. But I saw results a week later and my pores actually looked smaller. Ease of Application Not too thick and not too watery. I hate thick acne creams. Convenience Not available everywhere but is always available online. Only certain cvs, Duane trades, ulta and walgreens carry it Side Effects No side effects. Only a little drying if u slather a ton on or if you're using it more then once a day. Just layer a moisturizer on and you'll be good to go

I received a small sample of Vichy Normaderm Active Anti-Imperfection concentrate from a beauty counter at a local drugstore. The sales clerk told me that I could use it on small blackheads and pimples that come up. I sometimes get small pimples on my chest, which doesn't make for very nice cleavage, so I thought I'd give it a try. I put a small amount on the blemishes twice a day, and by the third day, the pimples were gone! I was really surprised. I also tried it on my face as I had a couple of blemishes there as well, and I was extremely surprised by how quickly they disappeared. Just a tiny amount of cream placed directly on the blemish, twice a day, and poof! it was gone! You know those blemishes that never actually "come out", but are the quite painful under-the-skin type that wind up looking swollen and red? This cream worked wonders on one of those. Usually those take about 4 or 5 days to disappear. Well, I put this cream on as soon as I felt one of these come up, and in less than two days, it was gone. I fully recommend this cream to those with mild breakouts if you want to reduce the amount of time the blemish "lives" on your face or body. It worked for me and I will be purchasing it from now on.
