Urbanears headphones

We bought these for our son for Christmas and thought because they were cheaper then the compeditor and thought we would give them a try. We should have saved our money. Today is January 17th and these are already broken. I plan to return them as we have 90 days or something. They work but the speakers sound like they have a demon inside them. Sounds like something was blown and my son is only 13 and listens to his game system on them so I know he dont have them up loud enough to blow anything. I am very disapointed... Sound Quality The sound is what went out of these. They power up just fine but sound is like it is full of base or something. We are very unhappy with this purchase. We will be returning them and will see how the replacements are and if they hold up then It could have been a design flaw and I may retract my review but for now it stands. They have not been out of the box for 25 days yet and they are broken.

Not comfortable for me but great sound!

I received these headphones as a gift, and I honestly prefer my Apple earbuds even though they are not as nice. I do have to say, the sound is great. Sound Quality The sound quality is great. Also, since they are over the ear, they block out a significant amount of outside noise. Comfort I personally found them very uncomfortable. It seems to be because they push in my earrings and are tight on my small ears. I have not heard anyone else complain about comfort issues, though. Design I wouldn't wear them to exercise or walking down the street, but they are perfect to wear while working. Durability They appear to be very durable. I would be concerned about carrying them from place to place because they are larger and could get damaged.

Cool brand name for a decent product

I received these headphones as a gift, so I cannot complain too much. They were comfortable when I first using, but after 45 minutes of use, they started to hurt my ears as well as made them extremely hot. Overall, they are a good set of headphones, but I wouldn't have gotten them on my own. Sound Quality Sound quality is good, bass is loud and overall you can hear different channels in each ear. Comfort The headphones are tight around my head and hurt my ears after longer periods of use. They also make my ears hot. Design The design is standard for an over the ear set of headphones. The adjustment mechanism isn't elaborate but they are easy to adjust. Durability I've only used them 10 times since they aren't comfortable after prolongated use so I cannot give a full description on the durability - since I leave them at the office for use. I use my ear buds much more.

Impeccable sound that is comfortable to wear

This is my first set of bigger headphones I have owned and I LOVE them. Even with no sound they are a great noise blocker. They are comfortable (even headband is padded) on my ears and you can turn your music up pretty loud while not disturbing anyone else. I have traveled with them once and the only downsize there is the size but great to use while watching a movie. I don't think I would take them to workout for no other reason then the sound and its a really nice set of headphones so wouldn't want to ruin with the sweat. I highly recommend these headphones.

Great sound quality. Best headphones I've ever had.

I go thru earbuds pretty quickly, like 3-4 sets a year. And I've had lots of full size headphones over the years but my Urbanears Plattan headphones are far and above the best I've ever owned. They are fairly lightweight and not too bulky as far as full size headphones go. When I first acquired these headphones they sat in the box on my coffee table for a few days. My husband likes to play YouTube videos with annoying music while I'm watching TV or doing quiet things so I encourage him to use earbuds whenever possible. So he gave my new headphones a try and it's been a struggle to get them back from him. Sound Quality The sound quality is just fantastic and they block outside sounds as well so they'd be great for a noisy environment when you want to tune into your music but tune out the world. My husband and I fight over who gets to use them. Comfort Although they are lightweight, they are a bit of a tight fit so they press on my ears and cause some pain after 30 minutes or so. I've changed them around to try to get them to not hurt but they just hurt. Design Way bulky compared to earbuds but the sound quality makes up for the size. They are smaller than other full size headphones though. The cord could be a tad longer. I like to plug them into my laptop or iPad to catch up on shows on Hulu and sometimes I like to sit a little further back than the cord allows. I also like that mine are grey in color as they are a bit less obtrusive than typical headphones. Durability I haven't had mine for long but they are used several times per week for a few months and have held up well. I like that the cord is not covered with rubber or plastic but are instead covered wit fabric. It is much more comfortable and flexible and I feel they will hold up better.

UrbanEars Headphones are the best!

These headphones are the best I ever had this far. The sound quality is awesome and when you press both sides against each other you can't even hear a single blow. It doesn't matter if the volume is all the way up, because no one will hear a thing when you listen to music. They are quite comfortable too and the bass is great. No complaints at all. You should try them out if you have the chance to test them in a store. Or you should just get them right away ;)
