Many many years ago, my brother-in-law took us to a REI store in Orange County.  We were impressed with the store and the product line, and so we were encouraged and eager to join the co-op.  A one-time membership of $15 for life made it possible for us to purchase a lot of products for our use.  REI offers a credit card through US Bank.  The card pays 1% cash back on regular purchases, 5% back on REI purchases, and REI has been giving a yearly dividend of about 10% of your purchases through REI.  Regularly priced products purchased through REI would benefit from the 10% rebate; sale or specially priced items are less than that.  However, just getting the rebate check is a plus.  REI also has a wonderful replacement policy and have a nice line of products.  The only set back with the rebate is that one has to wait until July to "cash in" on the rebate.  Other than that, the wait for the rebate is worth it all.

I have this card since I turned 18 year old. When I was younger, I would spend over my credit limit, however, US Bank was willing to work with me on setting up a payment plan. In few occasions, they waive some of the fees. In a short period of time, I was able to pay off the card.  Ten years later, I sitll own this card. This is one of the two cards that I only use during emergency situation. Many thanks to this bank. It was them who didn't let my young and bad spending habits didn't ruin my credit.

I have been a member with USBank Visa Credit Card (Birdwatcher's Digest) for about three years.  Cashback bonus is wonderful and I love doing business with credit cards like USBank and discover credit cards,  Their customer service is always outstanding and they always strive to do better.  I had some unauthorized charges from dazzle white and other similar companies on my usbank visa card and when I called usbank visa credit card they where so friendly and sympathetic to my complaint.  They asked me to try and resolve the problem with the merchants first which I tried with no avail, it was such a dissapointing experience and very frustrating to deal with these merchants. So back I went to USBank and they immediatly removed all unauthorized charges right there and then, no forms to fill out, no letters to write, no checking on my status for the complaint.  It was like breathing fresh air.  Needless to say I will always have great appreciation for the way usbank visa credit card handled my complaint.

Us bank is the best bank out there in my opinion. They will work with you on what ever the matter is. They have great credit cards that are easy to understand and manage. They have great home loans. The loans are great great apr. The customer service is outstanding! The representatives are never rude, they care what you have to say. If you do have a problem they will solve it so fast you wont even realize you had a problem. For example one time someone got ahold of my credit card number and US bank realized that the charges weren't in my normal spending habits, they put a freeze on my account and got ahold of me immediately. After that had happened I knew I was safe with US bank. i know i dont have to worry about someone getting my information and ruining my credit or my life. Us bank will make sure you are very well taken care of and you get the best service they have to offer you. over all us bank credit card  is fanominal!

We only have one credit card and we pay it off monthly. So a credit card is a tool for us and not an on-call bank. MasterCard gives us exactly what we need and want in a credit card. We want a moderately high credit limit just in case of emergency. But we don't want to have to spend a minimum or a maximum. We just want it available. We don't want a card that begins to charge interest as soon as we charge something and we don't want a card that has an annual fee. We don't mind the late fee, since we never pay late. Since we travel a great deal, it is comforting to have this MasterCard which is accepted almost everywhere. Once we were going to Louisiana to help with clean up from Katrina. The trailer blew 3 tires. In each case, the small town tire store accepted the card as payment. So whether in a small town or large city, at home or abroad, the card is recognized and used. We like the way we can check our balance and activity on line. Overall the card is a wonderful tool that acts just the way we expect it to.

Instead of asking if there are any problems going on in the household, they become very pushy in stating why you need to pay a certain balance. There are times when unexpected things happen in a household and money is difficult to distribute to all parties. If they would ask if anything has happened so that other arrangements could be made to help everyone that is required money. In todays economy, with the prices of EVERYTHING rising, managing a budget is very difficult and I'm not trying to avoid paying what I owe, I'd just like someone to say, "is there a problem that we aren't aware of at this particular time."

Let me begin this review by saying, that I bear no ill will towards Visa itself. However, the Visa that I have used with USBank has been a harrowing experience, primarily because of the minute details that the bank either neglects or chooses not to make visible to card users. First of all, USBank does not notify card users when their due date changes. On average, it changes two or three times a year, however I had a stretch this year in which the due date changed literally every month, with no notification. USBank also does not notify when your credit limit changes. On a $300 limit card, I was shocked when, awaiting a charge to come through, my limit suddenly dropped to the point that the charge would put me over my limit, with ensuing mass fees. I rushed to make an extra payment and sweated it out, hoping that the payment I made would come through at the same time as the charge. Miraculously when the charge and my payment came through, my credit limit suddenly went up again to its original level. All of this happened within 2 days, with no notification. My point is that the card itself is not a problem, and in fact it's not too bad. But the way USBank handles it is a pain, and if I had known, I would've simply gone with another bank.

I feel over all that the credit card was pretty good. I do have a credit card with Us bank and checking and savings. It was very easy to sign up and get a credit card and was sent within 5 to 7 business days. You can have credit card payments that you need to pay and if you have money in your checking or savings they won't deduct or take your money. You are your own boss!

I really like this card. All minnesotans who get child support or unemployment benifits have the option to have this card. It works better than my bank card because the money always hits right away. You can use the card anywhere they take visa. You never have to worry about an overdraft, and you can reach customer support very easily. They are always willing to help. When my usbank prepaid visa card was stolen i had a new one in the mail within two days. And the bank waived the overnight shipment fees for me.
