Kids dont like the taste.

5

Tylenol drops are a staple in the ED where I work. It is used day in and day out for fever reducer and pain easer. However, When it comes to comparing Tylenol with Motrin, Motrin wins hands down in the taste department. I dont understand why this is but for the folks at the Tylenol company, Please find a way to make the taste better so kids wont mind taking it so much.

Tylenol Infants drops has been a lifesaver for me durring my babies teething bonanza! I would choose this product over any other. It also helps with other minor aches and pains when you know your baby just isn't feeling well. Your baby can't tell you, but I know Tylenol is there!

Baby Tylenol is sickeningly sweet and chemically tasting

1

I would never expose a baby to this product, which contains unsafe chemicals, colors, flavors, and sweeteners, and only relieves symptoms and does not help heal.  There are several natural, safe, and effective healing remedies available (herbs, vitamin and mineral products, homeopathy) at natural foods and supplement stores).

Works best of all baby pain relievers

5

Baby Tylenol is the infant pain reliever I trust. I have tried other brands and baby tylenol works the best. I have used it when my children were teething and and had a temperature. It helped to soothe them.  It is also is easy on an infant's digestive system.

Tylenol Infant Drops Bring Back Your Baby's Smile

4

Tylenol is one of the best- known trademarks in pain relief and it's one of a select group of consumer goods that almost every person in the U.S. has used at least once. I have used adult Tylenol products for many years so I felt completely comfortable giving these drops to my youngest daughter. At the recommendation of a pediatrician, I first gave these drops to my little girl when she had a fever and Tylenol helped to eliminate the temperature and most of the misery associated with it. Later, I found myself reaching for Tylenol Infant Drops again, this time to help eliminate some of the pain caused by teething. Tylenol performs satisfactory or better in each instance, helping to rid my little girl of most of the discomfort and bring the smile back to her face. Because this medicine is manufactured in drop form, it is much easier to use than other medicines. Manufacturers make medicine like this one in a way that tastes good to kids but even the good taste will not always convince youngsters to submit themselves to the ordeal of medication. They will fuss, squirm, and slobber in an effort to get rid of the medicine. But this problem is eliminated with Tylenol Infant Drops. The dropper allows parents to position the medicine away from the front of the mouth, increasing the odds that it will go down the child's throat. And the grape flavor (there are other flavors, too) is a welcome taste sensation to most children. Bottles of Tylenol Infant Drops are quite small. The .25 oz. bottle is so small that some people will have a hard time reading the tiny print. Not only that, the small size also means that a single bottle may not last very long. The .5 oz (15 ml) bottle, for example, is good for only nine treatments at the rate of 1.6 ml per dosage. This means that parents might find themselves running back to the store more than once to restock on Tylenol Infant Drops. I understand why Tylenol makes the product this way. The dosages are small and a dropper is used so the need for a large, adult- size bottle isn't necessary. Still, depending on your child's needs, a single bottle- even the largest size- isn't likely to last very long. Overall, Tylenol Infant Drops are a very good product for parents of infants and young toddlers. The medicine is easy to dose and it is recommended by pediatricians all over the world as a safe, effective way to relieve pain and bring down fevers. A bottle doesn't last very long but the positives easily outweigh the negatives with Tylenol Infant Drops. It is a safe and effective medicine, and one I recommend to anyone with small children.

most necessary item for new parents

I think every new parent, grandparent, babysitter, EVERYONE that might be near children should have this product on hand. It always relieves my sons' fevers quickly and effectively, and when a baby or small child has a fever its freakin' scary! They always seem like they are in pain too and this product seems to help with that too. I always taste everything before I give it to my son, just to see. If it tastes completely horrible and I'd have a hard time choking it down, then I probably won't give it to my kids. Tylenol drops, grape flavor taste like candy medicine- MUCH better than the 'little fevers' line. Also on the nights when my sons' teething got really bad, this really seemed to help. Life saver for sure, just don't give too much or too often, as with all medications.

Tylenol Infant Drops work good, but prefer Ibuprofen/Motrin.

3

Whenever my 8 month old son has a fever or temperature, or is just in pain from his little teeth popping through his gums, we give him some tylenol. It works well, but we prefer to give him ibuprofen/motrin. For some reason ibuprofen seems to bring his fever down faster, and it seems to work better with his pain. Although Tylenol does work just fine and does ease his pain, the ibuprofen seems to have a slight edge. Maybe it is different with different kids and different people. Also Tylenol scares me a little more to give him because my wife and daughter are both allergic to tylenol, so I don't want to take too many chances of seeing if he is as well. But all-in-all good product. Works well and does what it is supposed to do, I just have a slight preference of ibuprofen, but will use either product. I would still recommend this product because it does the trick, but for faster fever reduction for your infant I suggest giving ibuprofen a try.

Tylenol works

4

When my son was born, the hospital gave us a small bottle of Infant's Tylenol for use as needed. We didn't have the need to use it until he was several months old and teething. This medicine really WORKS! My son wouild be just crying as hard as he could because those little incoming teeth were hurting him so bad and this medicine worked FAST and eliminated his discomfort! It helped him to get sleep at night during that teething time as well as when he was sick with strep throat! This worked great at bringing his high fever down and it was safe to be used at the same time as the amoxicillin that he was prescribed for this throat, which eased my fears of too many medicines at once! I was very pleased that my son liked the taste of this medicine, it seems that he associated the taste with relief, because we would no sooner give him a dose and he would stop crying and start going to sleep. It's like he knew that the Tylenol would take care of him :) I am very pleased with this product!

Tylenol Infant Drops Grape 1 oz.

**                                                      Tylenol Infant Drops Grape 1 oz.** **** **Ive been using **Tylenol Infant Drops Grape 1 oz. since i first became a mother. Its the only medicine i use for my children unless prescribed by a doctor. Its the only kind i trust and its very well known. I have never had a problem getting my children to take it because it does not have a nasty taste at all , my children like how it tastes. It definitely works at reducing a fever  and relieving any discomfort your children may have , including fevers that come from teething , It is a little pricey and is a very small amount but it is definitely worth it when it comes to comforting a  sick or child in pain. It helps your child get to sleep when they are sick . Its a small bottle like i said so its easy to carry anywhere with you like a diaper bag or purse you can even just slip it in your pocket ... i love this product  and would definitely recommend it **** **** ****

Use the Children's formula...infant drops are a waste of money

2

I believe tylenol is a trusted product and like the grape flavor.  The dropper is extremely convenient for measuring small amounts for a small baby.  I do feel like generic infant tylenol is a cheaper alternative to Infant tylenol.  Very quickly, it becomes insanely cost prohibitive to use medicine that is advertised for infants.  Even our pediatrician mentioned this at our last well child check.  As long as you can safely figure out the amount needed with the children's formula, you are much better off cost wise to use the children's formula instead of the infant one.  I have noticed that now children's tylenol is not colored and is labeled as "dye free" which seems safer overall.  With all that aside, my children swallow tylenol like it is candy.  The packaging seems safe and the bottle is child proof.  My children have never had any adverse reactions to the medicine and it has always helped with their fevers or teething pain.
