My most prized Tupperware item is my can opener. I had a fancy electric can opener that was crewed into my cabinet and I took it down and gave it away as soon as I discovered the Tupperware can opener. Unlike regular can openers, this one does not cut into the can. You grip the lid and turn the handle and the wheel rolls around the can and separates the glue from the can lid. Instead of cutting and exposing sharp edges of the can, the lid just comes right off when you grip it and pull up. It is very easy to use and a lot of times when people see me opening the can they are surprised because what I do is grip the lid with the can opener and instead of turning the wheel in the traditional way, I hold the turning part still and rotate the handle over and over again. Not one time have a spilled the contents of the can or made a mess. I also like the fact that it does not require electricity so if the power is out or if we want to go out camping one day, I can carry it with me. My only complaint is that I have found certain cans that won't open properly with this can opener but it is very few and far between. But overall, I love it. Ease of Cleaning I have only had to clean it maybe a handful of times in 7 years.

I absolutely LOVE this can opener! I always used my moms, and when I got married I made sure I got one for myself as well! It is a good strong, can opener, and it works very well! It doesn't leave the edges all rough, and jagged! It is well worth the price! I would highly recommend this can opener to anyone! I love Tupperware, and this is just another great product of theirs! The only thing i don't like is that it cuts the lid off so that you can't put the lid in the can, if that makes sense? But I still love it! Five stars from me! the Tupperware can opener is a great product for your kitchen. this is probably one of my all time favorite products that Tupperware makes. the reason why I like the Tupperware can opener is the it does not leave any sharp edges on the can that you are opening. and most of us know that those shape edges can be very hazardous! this is a great way to get the kiddos involved without them getting cut! you can hardly believe it, it leave smooth edges! I can not remember the cost but it is totally worth the money. and remember with Tupperware there is always a life time warranty on all of their products! it does take a little bit of time to get use to and a little brain work to figure out at first but once you figure it out you are golden. I would recommend the Tupperware can opener to anyone looking for a new kitchen tool to invest in! and remember it leaves your can looking and feeling smooth.

As the title admits, I've owned my Tupperware Can Opener for over six years now and have not yet had any problems with it. I bought it when I was a Tupperware consultant and I can't remember how much it cost or if I got it for a reduced price, but I think they are a little on the pricier side for someone who just needs something to get the job done. Although I can't say I would have spent full price on this if I weren't on sale, I am really happy with how mine has worked for me since I bought it. The opener connects/attaches to the rim of the can really easily and you just turn the hand crank (obviously). I like that you can put your hands into a handle instead of how the cheaper ones are, but I can imagine an elderly person and/or someone with wrist issues may have a problem with that.. not sure! Also, there is a thing (I don't know what it is called) that looks like a tiny bird beak and you use it to pull up the can lid. I love that it grabs it so you don't have to touch it! I also want to say that I've never had a problem with sharp can edges. That is a huge perk!

To be completely honest, I would not have paid full price for this can opener, but I bought it in a kit with other Tupperware products, so it seemed reasonable as part of the package. I love the can opener, and as many other things in my kitchen, I bought it because I thought it would be safe for my four year old daughter to use. Unfortunately, she does not quite have the coordination and enough strengh needed to use it yet, but on the bright side, I can hand her the empty cans to put in the recycling bin for me since they don't have a sharp edge, and as long as she's helping, she's happy. My mom actually cannot get the hang of it either. I guess it takes a little bit of practice to figure it out. Also, once the cans are separated, the lid can be a little bit difficult to lift off. Overall, it's a winner, but with a few improvements in functionality, it could be a superstar in the kitchen!

I have very much enjoyed having my can opener from Tupperware. It comes with a lifetime warranty so if it breaks I can get it replaced for free. It is easy to use and it makes the lid come off without sharp edges around it. It is safe for kids to use too. It is not heavy. The part you turn with your hand works with both left handed people and right handed people. It is easy to turn and doesn't hurt your wrists. It is an expensive can opener, but that's what allows you to have the lifetime warranty. It is worth the money you spend on it. You can even have a party for Tupperware and get it for free. That's an even better deal. It is easy to store because it's a good size. It is easy to clean also if it gets dirty. It is well made so it won't fall apart, but if something were to break then it can be replaced for free as previously stated. It was a little tricky at first to figure out, but now it's easy. I highly recommend this product as well as other Tupperware products.

I recently acquired the Tupperware Can Opener for my family kitchen and I am very happy with itts performance! The Tupperware Can Opener opens all size cans without leaving any sharp or dangerous edges!  The tUpperware Can Opener works by separating the seam between the can's lid and the can itself, nothing is actually cut, just separated! I didn't know that can lids were 'glued' to the can until I started using my Tupperware Can Opener.  The Tupperware Can Opener makes opening cans easier than any other manual can opener and the tUpperware Can Opener makes wasted cans totally safe.  The Tupperware Can Opener also does not create any undue messes or spills while opening my cans.  The design is completely ergonomic and attractive.  Ease of use for the Tupperware can opener is superb.  Most of all the price is right!  And as with all Tupperware products, the Tupperware Can Opener comes with a lifetime warranty!

I love this can opener! It has a unique white color and even more unique design, although most companies have copied the design by now. I love that it sits flat on top of the can as you turn the crank to slice around the can lid, and leave a non-sharp edge. It took me a while to figure out how to use it at first and I had to be shown several times. But eventually I caught on, and now it's a piece of cake! It takes a second to do, hasn't gotten rusty at all and is dishwasher safe! Pampered Chef is a quality brand and sell quality products. It hasn't broken and I've had it for over a year or so. The hand-hold is easy to grip and fits perfectly inside your hand without hurting or losing grip. I know there are other brands that sell similar models, so you may be able to find a cheaper can opener. I don't know how great their quality is, though. I would recommend getting a cheaper one first to see if you like it, then investing in one that will last FOREVER!

So I have no idea how much this device costs because it was a gift from my husband's Aunt Brenda, but I would say whatever she spent it was probably worth it.  My mom told me one time that Alzheimer's is possibly caused by little bits of metal getting into food via can opening.  Whether that's true or not, I don't know, but this can opener takes all the worry out of it.  It doesn't shard the metal like most can openers and it opens from the top, so it's slick and clean.  I have to admit it took me about two months to warm up to the device.  I tried it a couple times and couldn't figure out how to make the darn thing work.  My husband lorded it over me that it was "so easy".  And then I realized you have to weigh it down on the center of the can, and it really is just that easy.  I love how it is mess-free too.  I don't have to worry about rinsing it off because it opens it from the top.  I would recommend this to anyone as long as they're taught how to use it when they get it!

Since I sell Tupperware I have just about everything in the catalog, the can opener is one of my all time favorites~! I use to have a hand crank one that took about a year to open my cans and left sharp edges well not this one. The way this can opener works it leaves a SMOOTH edge no cutting yourself on a tin can with this opener. YES the price is a little high for an opener but IF anything I mean anything goes wrong Tupperware replaces it FREE of charge. The only thing you would pay if you do not purchase Tupperware with the replacement is the shipping and that's it. I LOVE TUPPERWARE it is a LIFE time Guaranteed trust me when it says lifetime they mean it. I would HIGHLY recommend this item to anyone.
