This is an excellent calcium supplement that actually tastes good. It's an antacid, but I use it as a calcium supplement for a very special reason. I become calcium depleted when I donate plasma. I lose the electrolytes in the donation, plus the citrate anticoagulant used at the plasma center binds calcium. The result often leads to extremely painful muscle cramps due to my blood calcium level becoming too low. This supplement remedies that right away while managing to taste good, and not like chalk. Effectiveness It stops calcium depletion cramps right away. I couldn't ask for better. Once, in the plasma center, I developed jaw cramping. They stock this remedy, knowing that this commonly happens to donors, and they gave me three tablets, and the pain went away. Ease of Use I simply chew two tablets by themselves. I don't have to take them with anything else or at any certain time other than when needed. Immediacy Within seconds, the cramps subside. I get foot and calf cramps so intense that it makes me want to yell. This fast relief is a godsend.

Every once in a while I will get a tummy ache from over indulgence, or certain foods doesn't agree with my tummy and acid builds up in my tummy. Whenever this happens I take one or two tums for fast relief. I usually start to feel better within one hour or so after taking tums. The tropical flavor of the tums are nice as well, it sure beats chewing on something that taste like chalk. Tums can be purchased by the bottle or in a single serve roll.

Tums extra strength is very good at helping with stomach and indigestion problems. I really like this product because I have some bad stomach problems and it gives me some relief. It tastes good and it only takes one or two tablets to get some relief. The orange flavor is my favorite.

When I get acid indigestion my husband always says "Did you take some Tums". You see, Tums work for him just fine, but they really do nothing for my painful GERD symptoms. I think the Tums tablets taste chalky, and even the berry flavors doesn't cover it up. They contain 600 mg calcium and their commercials tout that we need calcium anyway. However, my doctor said she no longer suggests that her patients take calcium because of a report that came out linking calcium to heart disease in women (I believe the calcium was forming deposits in the body). I don't know if those studies are correct or not, but I find more relief from taking Gaviscon anyway. Hubby always keeps Tums on my shopping list if we are getting low because they work for him, so they will always have a place in our home ... I just wish I had the same positive results. Effectiveness Don't to much at all for me, but I am choosing satisfactory because they work for my husband Ease of Use Easy to chew up, but tastes chalky Immediacy Hubby says they go to work fast, but again, not for me.

For the past 14 years I have been chewing Tums, or the generic of tums, every day. to help with my osteoporosis. My doctor suggested that I have 5 extra strength tums a day. Before the berry flavor came along, the ones I would buy were the Tropical Flavor. They were pastel colors, and had some flavor to them. What I did like was, when taken with my osteoporosis Rx medicine, my bones started to get stronger. It is easy to chew a Tums when you get up, lunchtime, mid afternoon, dinner time, and at bedtime. Not only did they help my bones, but I didn't get indigestion. It prevented it before it happened. If the store is out of the berry flavor, then I am always happy to pick up a bottle of the Tums Extra strength Antacid in Tropical Flavor. Works for me. Effectiveness Helps make bone, and prevents indigestion for me. Ease of Use Just chew and they dissolve. No water needed. Immediacy Improves bone over a long period of time. Helps with indigestion.

I really love using the Tums Chewable Tablets 12 Tablet Rolls. They are so convenient and easy to carry. I used to carry them all the time in my purse for whenever I wasn't feeling very well. I would also pull them out whenever anyone I was with seemed to need one. I would often have whoever I was with start asking for them. It is so hard to carry around the usual Tums bottle, but those little rolls I can take anywhere. They are great in both the fruit and the regular mint, and I often carried a roll of both around or alternated. The taste is so great. I could never take the generic ones, because they just tasted like chalk. There is no difference between the rolls and the regular big pack as far as the product goes. If Tums regularly works for you, this is a really great product for you. You can also take more than one at a time, which is great for really bad cases. However, I did stop getting them because they were a little too expensive for the small size they are. If you're willing to pay for convience, that should be no problem.

 in my review of tums extra strength i just like this product so so so much. i like it so so so much beacuse it helped when i had a ulcer. i was diagnosed with having a ulcer in the year 2000. when i met my hunny in 2006 i told him i had a active ulcer that everytime i ate something saucey or spicey i would be in so much pain. so he said let me see if theres anything i can find on the internet that will help you or even take the ulcer away i said ok. so he told me that you know tums is an antacid that helps ulcer i said are you serious? he said yes i said i never knew that. so when i started taking them in 2006 i started feeling much much better that at times i was able to eat something spicey or even saucey. now it is 2010 and til this day i still take tums extra strength because they really did stop my ulcer. it also stopped me from bleeding internally. i'm so glad that my hunny found these for me and helped me. i say buy them although they are a little pricey its worth it.

When I get an occasional tummy ache I always reach for **Tums **for first relief. More often than not, a couple of **Tums** tablets will quell my queasy stomach within an hour or so. Tums are primarily designed to combat heartburn by neutralizing stomach acid in your stomach and esophagus. I most often use **Tums Extra Strength** tablets, which contain 750 mg of calcium carbonate. According to the manufacturer of Tums, the following foods can cause heartburn or acid indigestion: • Greasy and spicy foods  • Alcohol  • Tomato-based products  • Citrus fruits and juices  • Chocolate  • Milk  • Caffeine  • Peppermint or Spearmint  • Peppers and onions  • Toabbaco For me green peppers, grapefruit, and some kinds of pasta sauce can set me off. I try to avoid these foods (I even pick peppers out of any food I find them in), but sometime stress seems to add fuel to the fire too. Whatever the cause, **Tums Extra Strength** usually calms my stomach by tamping down acid. My only complaint is that the Tums tablets are fairly hard and chewing them up is no fun. However, they do come in a variety of flavors, such as various fruits and berries. There is also a sugar-free variety that is Orange Creme flavor. No matter which flavor or variety of **Tums **you choose, I think they are a good product to keep on hand both at work and at home.
