Truly amazing!

We purchased our Troy-Built 28 inch Storm Deluxe Two-Stage Snow Thrower last winter when our Craftsman's transmission blew out. I, for one, am convinced that this was most definitely a worthwhile investment. For starters, it has heated handles which is great for people like me who just cannot stand cold weather. It gets great traction, cuts through snow drifts so much better than my previous Craftsman snow blower, and is definitely as good to me as any Husqvarna product ever was! I hope that my Troy-Built 28 inch Storm Deluxe Two-Stage Snow Thrower lasts for many, many years to come! This snow blower performs like a professional! It cuts through large snow drifts with ease, and handles very nicely! I love the power the engine has! I use it all the time on my driveway and walkway as well as the driveways and walkways of my neighbors, family, and friends. Try it! Really! It's great!

Troy-Bilt Storm 2840 28" Snow Blower is a winner

Have had the Troy-Bilt Storm 2840 28" Snow Blower for 3 seasons now and am very happy with it. It has done all I've asked it to do in through three Maine winters. It has started and run without any hesitation. The only issue I've had with it is with the chute coming loose during the 3rd year in use. I wound up installing 2 lock washers to the bolts that attach the chute to the frame. No problems since then.

Strong snow blower

We purchased a new Troybuilt Storm 2840 28" snowblower this year. In the past we have had an Ariens that we absolutely loved, but after 20 years the transmission went out. When we replaced we bought a smaller 24 inch Husquavarna snow blower. This snowblower was a piece of junk so our dealer let us trade up to a Troybuilt larger model. This troybuilt is a work horse. It start well, has heated handles, and is pretty tought. The only problem we have had is that the chute is a little shorter than our old Ariens was. This wouln't normally be a problem but our snow get so deep here that when we are throwing snow up on our rock wall sometimes the shorter shoot prevents the snow from being thrown up over the old snow and it can cause a small avalance. I would recommend buying this item but if you have a lot of snow the longer chute might be better option.
