I've had this snowblower for about 4 years now and it hasn't let me down at all. I previously was using a plug in snow blower that did the job, but was useless on heavy snowfall days or against the wall of snow at the end of a driveway. My Troy Bilt has been great at tackling the amount of snow we see in Syracuse, NY. The machine works efficiently and starts easily with the electric start. I can handle 18 inches of snow and also handle the wall of snow that is usually 2 feet or deeper at the end of the driveway. This has been a good investment for me in the winter months here in NY. I would recommend this to others and encourage you to keep an eye out for deals at your big box hardware stores.

Before I purchased this snow blower, I had a smaller less reliable one. My old snow blower was considerably smaller than this one, and always had trouble in heavy, wet snow. When I got this monster home, I was immediately impressed with the quality of this snow blower. It worked great after a fresh, heavy snowfall. It never bogged down at all when I would use it. I have a gigantic drive way, so it gets plenty of use. I also live in the country so it gets plenty of use when the wind blows big snow drifts into my driveway. I know now that no matter what mother nature may throw at me during the winter months, I know I can depend on my Troy-Bilt. They made a very reliable snow blower, and I will keep an open mind when I need to buy similar products that are made by them. Its a very sturdy piece of equipment, that is not overly loud, and consistently runs great. I highly recommend buying this snow blower if you live in an area that has more harsh winters, as I do.

We moved to the East Coast from California. Boy were we in for a shock this winter. Luckily, our new neighbors suggested that we invest in a good snow blower prior to winter. Luckily for us, we took his advice and purchased one prior to winter. Since we had no experience with snow blowers, we read the manual and played around with the machine to familiarize ourselves with the snow blower. My husband was very excited the first time it snowed this year and he got to use the blower. He is the main user of the snow blower and has had to use it many times this winter. While he was away on business, we had a major snowstorm and I got the "pleasure" of using this snow blower. I was nervous at first as I had never used it but I was happy to learn that it was easy to maneuver and remove snow from our driveway. I was worried that it would be hard to push through the snow. It wasn't exactly easy but it was not hard either. I quickly got the hang of it and soon our driveway was clear of snow. This blower does take up some room so I would advise making sure you have a proper place to store it. Performance This snow blower works great at clearing snow from our driveway. Handling This snow blower is easy to handle and maneuver even in deep snow.

Bought this snowblower with anticipation that it could handle the snowy northeast winters and it has not disappointed so far. I have a large, long driveway and needed a reliable snow blower to handle the job. We have had several snow storms already with two being over 15 inches and this snowblower just plowed right through it no problem. It is really easy to start with two pulls at the most to get it going. Has multiple speeds and reverse to handle any condition. Has gone through heavy wet snow and has not jammed up. Also has a convenient light that really illuminates the night making it easy to use at any time of the day. The snow blower is also light weight for a powerful machine making it quite easy to maneuver in any conditions. Overall you can not go wrong with this snow blower. Its a great price and operates like many snow blowers that cost several hundred dollars more

When I move to upstate New York near the Quebec border I bought this snow blower. Up here we measure snow by the foot not the inch. This machine has never let me down. Performance It throws wet snow, heavy snow, slush like a snow throwing champion. If snow throwing were an Olympic event this snow blower would get the Gold medal. Handling Controls are easy to use, operate, and read. Durability I have had it for three years now and it has never failed to start. Every spring I change the oil with a high quality synthetic before I store it and in the fall I replace the spark plug so it is ready for when the snow arrives. Our snow season is mid-October to Early May. So far so good. Ease of Use Use is great. It has knobby tires to move itself through any slippery terrain. It has forward and reverse gears. Engine Power As i previously stated, this machine has never let me down. It can move anything. I was told that horsepower is king when it comes to blowing snow. This machine did not have the biggest engine when I was shopping, but it has always done great.

I finally decided to buy a new snowblower after using my old Simplicity for 20 years. Well this was a great decision and the decision to buy the Troy-Bilt was an excellent one. It runs well and handles the deepest of snows. The only problem I have now is just doing my own yard instead of blowing snow out of all the neighbors' yards. If I did that, I would have a backache.

We are very pleased with our Troy Bilt Storm Two-Stage Snowblower! Where we live we get a lot of heavy snowfall throughout the winter months. Our Troy Bilt Snowblower provides us with a strong yet reliable way of removing all of the snow that we receive. Since we purchased a "two-stage", our snowblower has the ability to remove the wet and heavy snow that is otherwise very difficult to maneuver through. It is even capable of removing the semi-ice chunks that the plow leaves at the foot of our driveway! I would definitely say that it handles well since our driveway ends on a hill and we have not had any problems getting up and down the hill with it. Overall, we are very happy with the durability that the Troy Bilt brand has provided us with!

The Troy-Bilt snow blower is the way to go for power and durability. Hands down one of the best brands for snow-blowers out there, you definitely get what you pay for. the two-stage system is great for the heavy storms. The machine is a little heavy but not unlike any other snow blower on the market today. The machine is easy to fill with the fuel and changing the oil is done with relative ease. The engine seems to be very strong but time will tell on that one and I think that for what it is, this is an excellent machine. This snow-blower is easy to handle and turns well but that also depends on the operator. I would recommend this product for someone if they are in the market.
