This is a good multivitamin as far as potency. It does a good job with what it is supposed to do -- giving more energy, helping to keep you well, and providing those vitamins and minerals you often don't get enough of. The chewable aspect is nice and tastes pretty good. I think it gets absorbed better in your body in a chewable than in one you swallow. Sometimes it does get tiring to chew a vitamin every day, so if this is something that might be a bit too much for you, the normal ones probably are fine too. I have gone back and forth for those times in my life when I got tired of the chewing every single day. And as usual the price at Trader Joe's is very nice. I like that you can buy these supplements and not break the bank. The vitamins at Trader Joe's are often even cheaper than the same brand name at other stores. But, why spend money for the brand names, when the Trader Joe's brand works just as well?

These are our go to vitamins. The have a nice fruity taste. Not too sweet or sour for us. No one complains about taking vitamins now. The price is good and I usually buy about two at a time when I see them. They are a very popular item. That's why I grab them when I can so I am never without. We take them every morning after breakfast. I like that they are chewable and not too large. I feel that we are getting complete nutrition from these vitamins. We have been taking them for quite a while with no problems. I feel they are prefect for my family. My teenagers do not mind taking them. My husband has also started taking them after hearing about our rave reviews. I searched all over the Internet for a chewable multi vitamin. Either the price was too high or they were lacking in the amount of vitamins and minerals. Then one day I happened upon these vitamins. I tried them and that was the end of my search.

I wanted a chewable that wasn't so chalky and didn't leave that horrible, acrid taste behind. These fit the bill. All four of us (my husband, two kids and myself) take them and haven't had any problems with the "acid creep" that you can get on less than a full stomach with some vitamins. The texture is really not bad for a chewable. They're soft enough so that you don't break your teeth, but don't crumble to a choking powder, either. The flavor is also great -- not too sweet, but not too sour or bitter, either.  Nutritionally speaking, these are on a par with all the national brands. They are just as good, if not better, than many of the brands we have come to know. Make sure to check with your pediatrician before giving these to your kids. I think a single tablet is adequate, but I'm not sure what sort of requirements younger kids might have. Both of mine are older, so don't have any issues taking "adult" vitamins now.
