This is such a versatile product for a great price.  We use castile soap for lots of things.  It is a great hair and body wash, although I do find that I can't use it full-time as a shampoo because, after a week or two, I don't think my hair is as clean as with regular shampoo.  But it is an excellent back-up if you're out of shampoo or if you're taking a super quick shower and just need something that cleans both hair and body.  It is also excellent diluted in water for a produce wash.  We put it into a big bowl and then soak some of the harder to clean veggies like broccoli.  Sometimes I squirt a bit into a spray bottle of water and use it for all sorts of household cleaning. We also use cloth wipes for our babies (and cloth diapers) and you can do a very small squirt into your spray bottle for diaper changes. I love the peppermint scent and the fact that it is a natural product.  Trader Joe's items are so well-priced and this is no exception.

I love Trader Joe's Peppermint Castile soap!  Nothing makes you feel cleaner than the cool feeling of peppermint.  I also find that the fragrance makes me feel more alert and awake, which is great for those early morning showers!  The soap creates a rich lather, so you know you are getting clean.  Sometimes I even use the soap instead of shave gel for shaving my legs.  My favorite time to use the soap is during the winter.  While other bath and soap specialty store are releasing Peppermint soaps a la major price markup, Trader Joes product remains economically priced. The soap is mild enough to use as shampoo as well, I have friends who will use it to wash dishes.  Yes, it can cut through both the grease on my dishes as well as the oils in my hair.  You just can't get more all purpose than that.  The added bonus is that it is Earth friendly.  If you have a Trader Joe's nearby, I would highly suggest giving the Peppermint Castile Soap a try!

You can't get a better quality castille soap for this price! It is excellent, and a little goes a long way. I've used it to clean produce, bathe my baby, and clean my floors! It smells wonderful and lathers up beautifully, but is all natural. If you are looking for a versatile, inexpensive, all-natural product, this is worth every penny.

As much as I like Tea Tree Tingle, my favorite body wash is still Trader Joe's Peppermint Castile Soap. I love the subtle smell of coconut mixed with the eucalyptus and hemp oils. And the refreshing sensation of peppermint gives the cleanest shower experience ever! But the most AMAZING thing about this product is that it is biodegradable and makes a wonderful dishwashing liquid! Yes, believe it or not, this aromatic body wash cuts through bacon grease and is so eco-friendly, you can wash your camping dishes with it. My family thinks it performs better cleaning pots and pans than Planet dishwashing liquid. I remember having greasy hands after making hamburger patties and being pleased that the Peppermint Castile Soap left my hands not only grease-free, but clean as a whistle! And there are no worries about rinsing your hands in your campsite or near a natural water source. There's nothing like it! It smells great, leaves your body feeling invigorated and is environmentally outstanding. I agree that the clogging cap should be replaced. If Trader Joe's is listening, perhaps they will change this minor annoyance.
