I initially bought this product because I enjoy eating yogurt and thought to give it a try. After my first bite, I made quesadillas and loaded this stuff on them instead of eating it plain, as I usually do with yogurt. Later, I made tacos because this stuff works well instead of sour cream.
Great sour cream, bad yogurt.
Mango Flavored Greek Yogurt at Trader Joe's
I tried Greek yogurt couple of times in the past and never liked the taste until I thought of giving it a try one more time at Trader Joes. Loved the taste - amazing but when I carefully read the nutrition label I was very disappointed to find out that one pack contains 16g of sugar which is equal to 4 teaspoons, I was not happy :(.
The only grocery store I buy greek yogurt at
Not too long ago a Trader Joe's opened up in my area for the first time in the state's history. I consider myself an avid yogurt enthusiast and was excited to try their version - especially since the prices were great considering it's a nice tub of yogurt. Ever since that day, I go out of my way (15+ miles) to buy my yogurt here as opposed to the grocery store less than half a mile away from my home.
The texture is incredibly smooth and it tastes delicious! Some greek yogurts can be quite sour but this one has a nice medium to it - not too sour, but no sweet either; it's just right. I highly recommend their vanilla and honey flavors, although I haven't come across one flavor that I didn't like. I also like how they are fat-free, I consider that a bonus. Overall it's a great store-brand yogurt -- you really can't beat the price, the taste, and the various flavors you can choose from. I will always go out of my way to buy their yogurt.
Trader Joe's has great prices and a great taste on their yogurt.
I really enjoy Trader Joe's Greek yogurt. Their variety is one that I can get in a multitude of flavors and enjoy everyone. The Greek variety not only has tons of real fruits to choose from, it also has plenty of protein to keep me going. The taste of this yogurt is great plain, or in one of their other flavor. I find that if if I eat one when I go to work in the mornings, I tend to stay full and not get hungry or snack cravings before it's time for lunch. This yogurt also makes a great fruit dipper.
Their flavor selection is awesome. I can eat the plain Greek yogurt all day or any other flavors. It's so smooth and creamy and not chunky like some Greek yogurts I've encountered.
There are several flavors to choose from to keep you from getting bored as quickly.
This is so smooth. It has a great consistency. It goes great on its own, with some flax, with oats, or tossed into a smoothie or shake to mix things up a bit.
These are so convenient. All I have to do is pop the top, dip my spoon in, and enjoy.
Great pumpkin flavor Greek yogurt.
.I love Trade joer's and I never thought to try out their store brand Greek yogurt until I saw that they had a pumpkin flavored Greek yogurt. I am obsessed with everything pumpkin flavored, and the Trader Joe's pumpkin Greek yogurt is delicious.
The consistency of the Trader Joe's Greek Yogurt is very thick and has a better overall taste and flavor then other Greek yogurts i've tried. It does not have the same bitter sour tart after tastes that every single Greek yogurt I've tried has. It isn't overly sweet either though, which is nice. It's very smooth and creamy.
I've tried a lot of the other flavors too like the honey, pomegranate, mando, vanilla, bean, and strawberry. All the flavors tastes great. I like to vanilla bean flavor to use as a base for my smoothies.
The Trader Joe's Greek yogurt has a higher calrieintake then other Greek yogurts but I don't mind because it also has very high protein. I eat Greek yogurt everyday, and always look for Greek yogurts with high protein content, and this one is great.
The Trader Joe's Greek Yogurt Nutritional Facts: 190 calories, 0 g fat, 10 mg cholesterol, 80 mg sodium, 220 mg potassium, 29 g carbs, 23 g sugar, 18 g protein, and 20% calcium.
The pumpkin flavor is even made with real pumpkin puree. All the Trader Joe's Greek yogurts are very healthy and nutritional. There is nothing bad in them that you couldn't enjoy eating them everyday.
My favorite flavor of the Trader Joe's Greek Yogurt is the 0% non-fat pumpkin flavor. I haven't tried or seen any other pumpkin flavored yogurts but the Trader Joe's is amazing. It's so thick, rich, creamy, delicious, and luxurious. I love it.
Trader Joe's has a nice selection of Greek Yogurt Flavors like pomegranate, vanilla bean, honey, mango, blueberry, and strawberry. They also have a great fall festive pumpkin flavor. They ahve fat free, 2%, and regular greek yogurt. I usually get the 0% non fat flavors. My favorite flavor right now is the pumpkin, especially since fall is right around the corner.
Trader Joe's has the best Greek yogurt by far, and it has the best consistency. It is very creamy, thick, it's rich, and delicious.
It's a very convenient snack to eat, and i like going to Trader Joe's often so it's convenient for me to buy.
Best store brand Greek yogurt by far!
I'm very surprised at the taste of this yogurt. I bought this during my stay in another city and was excited to go to Trader Joe's since there isn't one in my area. I'm usually very skeptical about store brand Greek Yogurts due to bad experiences regarding it. When I saw a fig flavor of this yogurt, I just had to try it. It was on sale so I bought the flavors I thought I'd like best.
The yogurt has the thickness of typical Greek yogurt and less of the sour taste that people tend to complain about accompany more traditional Greek yogurts. It's a good mixture of the sweet tastes people are used to in yogurts and the traditional bitterness that often comes with a brand such as Fage.
If you need a good tasting Greek yogurt without the sticker shock of a name brand, I highly recommend Trader Joe's Greek yogurt.
This yogurt is very pleasant to eat and it's not something you have to get used to with the second or third bite. The fruit flavors don't taste artificial and the yogurt is tart yet sweet.
This brand is the only one I've seen with a fig yogurt flavor. I love the tastes of figs so I was overjoyed to find this.
The consistency is thick and creamy. Trader Joe's Greek yogurt is by far the best store brand yogurt I've tried.
I don't find any yogurt to be very convenient unless you're taking it to a place with a fridge or in a well-cooled cooler or lunchbox. However, for an at home or on the go quick pick me up, this is convenient and easy to take along.
Affordable yogurt and great taste!
I am very impressed with Trader Joe's Greek Yogurt. I am always looking for affordable and nutritious breakfast options that are high and protein and will help me start my day off on the right foot. This brand of Greek yogurt fits this description perfectly. I am a huge fan of Trader Joe's products. This company uses high quality ingredients, which is very important to my health and the health of my family. I also like that Trader Joe's products are affordable. I find in general that Greek yogurt is typically a bit more expensive than regular yogurt so I do not purchase it as often as I would like to purchase it. I do find that the Trader Joe's brand is quite affordable and fits within my weekly grocery budget. Overall, I cannot say enough good things about this brand of Greek yogurt. The texture is smooth and creamy, the flavor is rich, and the cost is affordable. I highly recommend this Greek yogurt to my family and friends.
Great for a yogurt starter
I used to really, really love TJ's full-fat Greek yogurt Then I discovered the Greek Gods brand, and I only bought this one in a pinch. However, then I stopped buying Greek yogurt altogether, and started making my own. I tried a few different Greek yogurts as starter for my homemade, and I was never really satisfied with the finished product. I decided to give the TJ's Greek yogurt a shot, and it makes perfect yogurt, every time.
I like its texture and while I am not a yogurt officionado, I do find the flavors good when there is a little something sweet added (fruit). The plain or vanilla are not so tasty to me, without adding that li'l something.
Compared to regular yogurt it just seems a little extra creamy in its texture, nice treat or snack. I enjoy in place of ice cream at night before going to bed.
Thick and rich--very tasty!
I love yogurt but find that most varieties of American yogurt are not so rich tasting. I like Greek yogurt but generally find it to be expensive. I was delighted to find the Greek style yogurt at Trader Joe's. It is much less expensive than varieties at other stores. I first tried the regular which was great but then tried the fat free variety to try and cut calories and it was also delicious. IT is so thick and rich tasting. My husband, not a big yogurt eater, doesn't care for it --he says it is sour and tastes like sour cream--so now I use it in place of sour cream. I like to eat it with just a bit of honey on it to sweeten it up. It is a real treat!
