I really love Trader Joe products. I saw this lotion and decided to give it a try. Sadly, Trader Joe's Enrich Moisturizing Face Lotion did not meet my expectations. This came in a 4 oz bottle. The front of the bottle states that it is fragrance free, for all skin types, light non-greasy, PABA free, and does not clog pores. This product just does not live up to all of these claims. This lotion is definitely not for all skin types, especially dry skin. I also found the product to be a little heavy on my skin, not light, like the they claim. This lotion may be fine for those with normal skin, but it is not moisturizing enough for dry skin. It just does not absorb that well and feels like it sits on top of your skin. Effectiveness Not effective for dry skin. It may be fine for normal skin though. Ease of Application Simply rub it into your face. Scent This product is labeled as fragrance free but does have a light subtle scent, in my opinion.

The Bottom Line: Trader Joe's Enrich Moisturizing Face Lotion is a good every day non comedogenic moisturizer (lighter formula, non greasy and won't clog pores) with an added SPF 15, and fragrance free. However, it will not provide enough moisture for people with dry skin, and I would recommend it only to people with normal to oily skins. Effectiveness This moisturizing face lotion gives you decent moisture right after application, but as someone who tends to have dry skin, I felt that the benefits did not last very long, and I found myself re-applying more lotion on my face within an hour of the first application. I love that it leaves your skin feeling pretty and hydrated at first, and not greasy at all, but I feel it lacks in the moisture department if you have dry skin. I felt the need to apply more lotion throughout the day because my skin kept feeling a bit dry and tight after a few hours. If I had normal to oily skin, I would give this lotion a 10, because it definitely meets the needs of people with oily skin, who do not want or need the extra moisture. But as someone who needs the extra moisture, I can only give Trader Joe's Enrich lotion an 8. I do love the SPF 15, which makes it good to use when you are going to be out in the sun and aren't as worried about moisturizing as you are about protecting your skin. Ease of Application This Trader Joe lotion is quite runny and a bit too thin to my taste, but it does make it very easy to apply. It will go over your skin quite smoothly, and first has a white appearance, but as you rub it in, the white will disappear. It does absorb quite fast and does not leave any greasy residue on your skin. Scent This lotion is fragrance-free, which makes it great for people with allergies or asthma, and which is also great if you like to apply perfume on your neck during your morning routine, as there will never be a weird scent interaction between this lotion and your perfume.

This moisturizer really does "enrich" your skin like the name of the product claims. It's a rich, creamy moisturizer that immediately hydrates your skin upon application and erases your dry patches. The formula is easy to apply, and blends effortlessly into your skin for an even layer of hydration. The creamy consistency assures you that you'll be getting lots of moisture. Unfortunately, it is not especially sensitive skin friendly. I instantly felt itchy after putting this on. So, that probably means something in the ingredients or formula doesn't get along with my skin. This alone makes me not want to use the product on a daily basis or for a prolonged period of time. However, because it is an effective moisturizer, I would still recommend it to people who do not have sensitive skin. Ease of Application You do have to be careful how much you squirt out, because it comes out fast.

I was a loyal Olay user prior to trying Trader Joe's Enrich Moisturizing Face Lotion. For less than half the price of Olay daily, I figure this was worth a shot. It is excellent! It absorbs well, doesn't make my face too greasy and doesn't clog my pores. With SPF 15, I can feel confident that my skin is protected during my day to day activities, although I'd use something higher if I was going to be outside for any length of time. My skin is important to me, especially keeping it healthy and hopefully wrinkle free for a long time. I have combination skin that is prone to black head and milia I am so glad to have found this lotion to aid in my quest to keep my young looking skin. Although the bottle does state that this is fragrance free, note that there is a light natural clean lotion smell. No additives to make it smell like anything specific, but the ingredients natural scents are very very lightly present.

This is a lotion that works well. I use it daily for my face, mix it in with some foundation, or use it by itself. I like it and the price is great! I do occasionally use it on other areas, but as a facial moisturizer, it works well. Ease of Application goes on smoothly Scent no scent

I had heard many great things about Trader Joe's Enrich Moisturizing Face Lotion and was simply not impressed with it at all. I had heard and read that it was light on the skin, non greasy, amazing for the price, and many other wonderful things. I've been using it for about a week now and I find that it is far from light but very heavy on my skin. I also would not agree when they say its not greasy because my skin is so very oily from it. I really hate looking shiny throughout the day because of how oily this makes me look. I am very disappointed in it. Even when you squeeze it out of the bottle you can tell that its not going to be light by how thick it comes out! I'm not even sure if people understand what light means at this point. I will agree though that the price isn't bad at all especially since you are getting two bottles for it. It just might be my skin type or maybe the batch I received isn't the greatest but I will personally never buy this product again.
