I always end up eating this at least a few times a week in the winter because it's so delicious and easy! It has a very nice tang to it, and it's completely smooth - I don't know why, but tomato soups that are a bit chunky just don't appeal to me at all. It's really nice and relaxing on a cool day on its own, as it's so creamy and thick that it's almost like a chowder. Sometimes I add chicken broth (TJ's, naturally) to the soup to make it a bit thinner, and it's still really tasty. Sometimes I buy the reduced-sodium version of this soup, which is okay, but I think the salty-with-a-hint-of-sweet taste in the original version is a winner. Plus, it's really easy to pair it with other foods, beyond the typical grilled cheese! I often add chopped sardines to the soup, or some spinach or kale, and it makes it more of a full meal combined into the comforts of a rich soup. I gave it 9 instead of 10 because sometimes I do find it a tad sweeter and saltier than it should maybe be.
