I've never been one to pay attention to electronics models, but I have to say that my Toshiba 42LX177 42 in. HDTV LCD TV is a really quality TV. I've had it for a few years, and I am never disappointed by the quality of the picture. We use the HD regularly, so the picture is exceptional. Even though the model is a few years old, it still looks like one of the brand new models that are out right now. It has a very small base, so you aren't wasting any space on that - it's just the wide screen. I would say 42 inches is the perfect size. It fits perfectly in with my bedroom set, and the look blends in with the room. If I ever need to move it, it isn't like those old, clunky televisions. It's light, thin and a great TV to watch.

I didnt really want to give up the tv I already owned, but my boyfriend talked me into down sizing. Well its the fact that this tv is so thin. It doesnt take up much room at all. It is very easy to use with, even for the kids. I figured the remote would be the hardest part, it looks so complicated, but it was all very easy to learn. The on guide instructions were very easy to understand. This television has a quick set up that was very helpful with all the new technology to learn, The television walks you through all the steps. Great picture quality, no glare from lights on in the room. I have decided that I made a good decision with this new purchase, The price together with the quality of the toshiba telivision was a great investment.
