I received this mascara as part of a Too Faced gift set. I was very happy to have the chance to try this mascara and see if I might like it or not. I found the mascara only coated my lashes and did not add any length or much needed volume. I would say that this mascara is better than not using any mascara, but definitely not worth the money. Performance I use and enjoy makeup from Too Faced and I thought this mascara would live up to those same wonderful standards. I was surprised that the mascara did not add any volume to my lashes and only a little bit of length. The product seemed on the dry side and I experienced a little flaking. Since it was part of a gift set, I felt like Too Faced was just trying to get rid of a poor product. After testing this mascara, I would never buy it especially given how expensive it costs. There are drug store brands for half the price that perform significantly better than Too Faced Lash Injection Mascara. I think Too Faced should either reformulate the mascara and wand, or discontinue it. Ease of Application This mascara is easy to apply like most mascaras. The only issue I had when I used this mascara was a bit of clumping of my outer upper lashes.

This was my first Too Faced purchase, and I have to say I was definitely disappointed with it. I have very thick eyelashes already but love to plump them up even further. When I applied the first coat, it made no noticeable difference to my eyelashes. Not easy to apply; the brush grabbed all my lashes and clumped them together. The consistency was super sticky and after a few hours, dry and flaky.

Despite some of the negative reviews about this mascara, I actually kind of like it. What is interesting about this mascara is that it creates a tubing over your lash. This way, when you wash the mascara off, it comes off easily because the tube just splits apart and falls off. This makes removing the makeup SUPER EASY when you are ready for bed at the end of the night. One thing I don't love about this tubing mechanism is that sometimes, I will have bits fall off and land beneath my eyes. They don't smudge, it just might leave a random chunk of mascara on your face. Another potential issue with the tubing is that it does sometimes clump if you don't apply it evenly and correctly. It does make the lashes look more voluminous and full though, which I love about it. I use this mascara from time to time and while it isn't my absolute favorite (that has to go to Benefit), I still enjoy using it and I haven't faced many problems with it.

This mascara rocks my socks...okay, my eyes! I am addicted to Too Faced I have to say and would never say one sour things about any of their products, so if you are looking for an unbiased...not too faced lover opinion...keep on clicking girl...or boy who wears mascara. This mascara does not clump and makes your lashes long and fat!!! Seriously I am lacking in the lash department, but you would never know it when I am wearing this mascara. Another thing that I love about it is that my eyes are very dry and somehow my contacts and my mascara are constantly in a battle with eachother,.... trying to make my eyes tear and my mascara run BUT low and behold...this product leaves my contacts and dry eyes alone and sticks to its own job...making my eyelashes longer than the Rocketts legs!!!! I am telling you that if you have to try this once..You will be addicted and it will be your only mascara for life!

Too Faced Lash Injection smelled strange like a marker and never dried on my lashes. It smudged like crazy.  The application is terrible, Too Faced Lash Injection flakes massively and your lashes stick together. It is really hard to remove, even with a waterproof make up remover. The formula that makes the so called tubes is some kind of rubbery substance that really sticks to your lashes making it really painful to remove everything.  This mascara flaked on me to the point where all of the little fibers severely irritated my eyes. If you have sensitive eyes please be cautious with this product. It has a dry consistency and flakes as you apply it.  It wasnt black enough.  I have never come across a mascara that flakes while you are applying it. It did nothing for my lashes. It made my lashes look grayish. This really changed my views of too faced makeup, it was a brand I once adored is now a brand I am reluctant to use.

I used to work in a cosmetics store and first learned about Lash Injection when a Too Faced sales rep came into the store. When the product was first introduced it came in only the original Very Black color, which was perfect for me since I prefer to have dark dramatic lashes.The formula glides on easily and for most women only needs a swipe or two. My favorite thing about the product, besides the intense volume and fake lash effect, is that even after it has dried I can continue to add on more mascara and don't have a problem with it clumping together or creating that "spider" effect.Lash Injection now contains more fun colors which help eye color pop, but I'm still extremely pleased with the original. I would highly recommend this product to young women who like to create a more dramatic eye effect and don't like the hassle of putting on fake lashes.

lash injection is by far my faveorite mascara- i alot of times opt for fake lashes as well, but for the times i don't feel like applying them, i use this. I love dramatic makeup and  and drag queen eyes and i can gt my big dark lashes with this. i apply 3-4 coats  and get awesome results. It doesnt clump for  me but every so often i take my brush out and wash it and rinse around the rim- it will help! and putting the brush back in a little damp also helps it your product starts to dry up a bit!

I was pumped to try a mascara that was supposed to be a cut above my usual drugstore staple, so when I splurged on Too Faced Lash Injection I had high expectations.  Well, the only way this mascara looks even OK is if one coat is applied, sparingly.  This prevents the majority of clumps.  However, if multiple brushstrokes or coats are used, the mascara becomes thick goo on your eyelashes that will flake all over your nose and cheeks after it dries.  And just when you thought the mascara had no staying power...when you try to remove it, the mascara seems to bond with the cleanser or cold cream and adheres permamently to your face.  I gave up and went to bed with pitiful black eyes after trying for ten minutes to get the mess off.  Back to the drugstore brands for me.

Boy this stuff does work. It lengthens, it adds volume, and it is super black and glossy. But what a frickin' pain to get this stuff off your lashes. It is next to impossible and you know what that means... Those lovely laashes will be a fallin out all over your cheek. Tis my fair warning folks.

Too Faced is a brand that has been hit and miss with me. Sometimes it has a great set of products- some of the best in the category, and sometimes the worst. In the case of Too Faced Lash Injection Mascara, I have to say that this is middle of the road. It comes in a black tube with pink writing and the brush is pretty much normal in style but longer than normal and with a pointier end than most. There is a slight odor but nothing that is really intense. Performance Too Faced Lash Injection mascara in black is okay- it is not terrible and not fantastic. The brush applies the mascara pretty evenly onto the lashes. The mascara itself gives me some boost in volume and a little in length but nothing dramatic or intense. My lashes look okay, but not WOW. This mascara didn't seem to flake a lot, but I did see just a little of it, which I didn't like, but not nearly as bad as a lot of mascara. Water did make it crumble just a bit but it didn't smear a lot. I did have a bit of burning when I removed it however. Nothing horrible, but it did make me avoid wearing this mascara a lot more than I could have. Ease of Application Application was pretty easy for this mascara. The brush was pretty precise and the mascara coated lashes fairly evenly. I didn't have problems poking myself in the eye either, like I have with some mascara wands.
