I recently tried Tone soap again after first using it years ago. I always liked it before, but I had quit using it for a long time. I saw it on the store shelf and decided to buy it as I was looking for a bar soap for the shower. When I used it and felt how fresh, clean and healthy my skin looked and felt, I wondered why I had quit using it. This soap doesnt dry out my skin and it really looks and feels healthy when I get out of the shower. It cost about 1.50 for two bars of soap and I think it works better than other soaps I had been using. I love Tone Soap and am very happy to have rediscovered it. It is the perfect combination of cleaning and moisturizing. Effectiveness Cleans and rinses well. Moisturizes effectively. Scent The right amount of a very fresh scent.

I spent a lot of time staying at different places over the last six years so I had a chance to try out a variety of shampoo, soap, and body products. One of the things I was able to try was a soap I had not seen in a long time- Tone soap. A peachy pink bar of soap with Tone stamped into it, this soap is supposed to be a nice moisturizing soap which has cocoa butter in it and that is supposed to be a good thing. My experience with it was not so good. **INGREDIENTS** *Soap, Water, Talc, Coconut Acid, Palm Acid, Tallow Acid, Palm Kernel Acid, PEG-12, Fragrance, Theobroma Cacao (Cocoa) Seed Butter, Glycerin, Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E), Sorbitol, Propylene Glycol, Aloe Vera (Aloe Barbadensis) Leaf Juice, Theobroma Cacao (Cocoa) Extract, Carica Papaya (Papya) Fruit Extract, Sodium Chloride, Decyl Glucoside, Pentasodium Pentetate, Tetrasodium Etidronate, Titanium Dioxide, Iron Oxide* Effectiveness When I started using this soap,I had a pretty rough reaction to it. My skin began to burn a bit and dry out too. I had itching and all kinds of irritation. Also, as odd as it sounds the smell was so intense that I felt like I could almost taste it when being near it for long in the bathroom. Maybe it was my imagination, but it was really irritating. Scent Although the smell is kind of nice in the original scent, I have a problem with it because it seemed to feel like I could almost taste it when using it and that was a rough feeling. I didn't like that. It is unisex though- not flowery or feminine.

Tone soap bar is a wonderful soap.  I use to use it all the time, especially on my face.  The bar smells delightful and it doesn't dry your skin like other soaps can.  It will make your skin feel smooth and soft to the touch, which is always nice.  The size of the soap bar is especially nice because it isn't too small and it isn't too big, making it easy to hold.  It lathers up real nice, especially if you use a sponge.  I like the color of the bar too because it makes it stand out in a grand way.  The price of this product is a plus also.  The container and the design on the box is pretty, making this soap when I use it one of my favorites.  This soap never lets me down.   If you want to feel and smell fresh and clean, then this soaps for you.
