Let me start off my saying I have a vacation house in Maine that has no running water or electricity. Let's just say, when I go, I am everyone's best friend. I purchased this brand, because the cheaper brands just didn't work or made your hair almost look grey! This dry shampoo is the best out there in my opinion. A little bit goes a long way and I will buy a bottle about every year and a half. I have also found this handy to keep with me during the summer. Sometimes the heat makes my hair look greasy or if I am caught in a quick downpour, using Rockaholic dry shampoo makes my hair look fresh and not weight down. This product is easy to over use. Like I said before a little does go a long way and if you do over spray, your hair won't look greasy, but will look like you just dunked your head in baby powder. One application can leave my hair looking nice and fresh for two days when I am in Maine, so it does last a while, and my hair is thick!

Dirty secret is a great dry shampoo. One of my favorites actually. It comes in very handy when you want to keep a hairstyle good for multiple days or a way around shampooing to keep a fresh color in a little while longer. This product works excellent. I can use it for days without feeling over amounts of build up. This product can and will get powdery looking, so of you have dark hair I would recommend OH BE HIVE by TIGI which is their newest dry shampoo.

I LOVE this stuff. I've gone through tons of bottles. I have the type of hair that looks like utter crap if I don't wash it every single day which we all know is not good for your hair. I use this in between washes and it works like a charm. The scent is refreshing and clean, not too heavily perfumed. It's great to not have to wash my hair every day and yet my hair still looks and feels relatively clean.

Full disclosure: I have tried both spray and powder versions of dry shampoo, and against my super sebum producing scalp, powder is really better. So keep that in mind when judging my scores. Overall I like Rockaholic well enough for a spray shampoo, but I like Salon Grafix just as well and that one is cheaper. Effectiveness The Rockaholic needs a lot of product sprayed around the root area to be effective on my hair. In all fairness, my scalp produces obscene amounts of sebum, so it's not up against typical hair conditions. Scent You don't get the fruity fresh scent at first spray like you do with some other dry shampoos. Instead, you got a really strong chemical scent. The fruity fresh smell becomes evident on dry-down. It's not obnoxious like some other spray dry shampoos so points for that.

This product is DEFINITELY too good to be true. I just lift a few sections around my face and at the crown and spray each. My hair is instantly fluffier, feels cleaner and it's smells great!!  This product claims to effectively clean and absorb oils on the scalp and hair.  It adds body and volume without stiffness or residue.  It brushes away dirt and product build-up - without flakes...which is a must!  It has a light, clean citrus scent. One tip I have is to make sure you use it in a well ventilated area or make sure you turn the fan on in the bathroom. Dry shampoos are becoming very popular lately.  The only other one I tried was by the brand "Big Sexy Hair" and I was not impressed.  I still felt like I needed to wash my hair with shampoo and water after using it.  Tigi Rockaholic Dirty Secret dry shampoo definitely does a good job of making you feel like your hair is clean enough to style and still look cute.

I purchased this Dry Shampoo on recommendation of a friend who said it worked very well for her.  I have previously tried baby powder and other homemade remedies for having to wash my hair daily, and was excited to find a permanent fix. I was a bit disappointed with this item, however, because it doesn't seem to make a big difference in my hair. It does smell great and kind of leaves my hair with some extra body (it doesn't have much naturally), and so I can't complain about that, but it still seems to me that it doesn't really do what it claims to. Maybe because I don't typically have really oily hair anyway it just doesn't appear to be as effective, but I'm not sure. While I will use this item while I have it, possibly just to build up extra body in my hair, I probably won't purchase it again. I haven't found that it leaves any kind of residue in my hair, and I have rather dark hair, so if that's a concern for you than I would say I wouldn't worry about it too much.

I love dry hair spray shampoos.  So much better than the baby powder that my mother swore was just as good.  I bought the Special Edition Tigi Rockaholic Dirty Secret Dry Shampoo at Ulta.  A portion of the proceeds went to breast cancer research.  And it was on special for half price.  My go-to dry hair shampoo is Oscar Blandi, so I figured I had nothing to lose.  And I was right.  This product does give your hair an extra day of not just feeling clean, but feeling full as well.  The Tigi product doesn't feel like it weighs my hair down, either.  I am not seeing the white residue that can come with so many dry shampoo products, but the smell is obnoxious.  It reminds me of a very industrial cleaning product.  There are several very acceptable versions of this product on the market. At the high end is the Oscar Blandi spray, which leaves no residue, has no offensive odor and is more than twice what I paid for Rockaholic.  Avoid the shake in powder unless you are going after the George Washington look. At the other end of both effectiveness and cost is Tresemme which left my hair feeling more dirty than when I started.  I would buy Rockaholic again.  I will just hold my nose

Ever have one of those days where you are stressed out, running your hands thru your hair and its gotten all flat and greasy.... Then you realise you have to go out that night! With TIGI's Dirty Secret, you can skip the shower! this product absorbs and excess oil and instantly gives your hair volume, texture, and a clean slate for other products. The smell is wonderful! a clean powdery citrus is great for either guys or girls. This doesnt leave your hair hard or crunchy at all. only downfall is that if you spray too close, it might leave a white residue that could look ashy, but just brush thru and your good to go! great for people with short bangs or just overly oily people like me! The packaging is fun and funky as you would expect from TIGI, and the Rockaholic line all together is very nicely packaged for a unisex sale! I find my fiance using it when he gets home from the garage sometimes! I wont let him know I see him using it... after all, its his Dirty Secret!

I was excited to try this because I read great things. I even heard nice things about the fresh scent, especially since it was particularly mentioned and the dry shampoo I was using had kind of a strong scent that I didn't really like. This was is one of the higher priced dry shampoos on the market and you sometimes don't get as much as similar products - manufacturing defect or problem with scam sellers. I have not used a lot of mine so I do not know. This can be serious as it is expensive!! It is a really nice product. It mists well. It is a fine, nice, light mist. There is little white residue (says none). If you leave it on one spot and hold it too close you get some residue. Let it sit then brush it and it is wonderful. Leaves hair light and fluffy. Yes you can feel the fine residue on your fingers and in your brush but I guess thats how it works. The smell though is like sawdust. That is the best descriptor I can give. At first it is 'light' but when you go to really 'do up' your hair, and then go finish getting ready, it can become noticeable....I may not finish the bottle!! I worry people can smell it! IT IS BAD!
