We bought this memory foam prior to a surgery,. The smell filled the entire house and we took it outside and aired it three times ( it still smells ), and washed all the linens to eradicate the smell. The smell is very chemically toxic. We received a skin reaction and an eye infection. Is it really necessary to douse this product with chemicals ? It feels very unhealthy.

This mattress was sold us as being an inexpensive twin to a temper-pedic mattress! The salesperson raved about it and finally sold us on it...Sad to say we should've realized there was not going to be a mattress like the Tempur-pedic that was this cheap... The first few weeks it seemed okay but about a month into using it it al went down hill for me at least. I already have back pain and this has truly increased it in the worst way. I wake up in pain and go to bed in pain. I often sleep on the couch to get relief.... Comfort It is not comfy in the least. It doesn't conform to the body, it is like laying on a stiff piece of wood. My husband does not mind it as much as I do, however, he is a side sleeper and I am not. I prefer to sleep on my belly. Support There is support if you like stiff beds and want to feel like you are laying on plywood. There is not support for someone who suffers back pain. Firmness It is extremely firm, however, for me this makes it the bane of my existence. I suppose for someone who needs this type of bed, this is probably as firm as one can get in a memory foam mattress. Durability I suppose it is durable and made well, we have had it for about 3 years now. If I could afford to get rid of it, I would. However, between buying anew house, having a new baby, and working less due to my child a new bed is not in the cards at the moment!

I highly recommend this mattress. Since we have bought ours, I sleep better. When one of us has to get up, we don't feel it so you're able to sleep without being desturbed by movement. You basically melt into the matttress for a comfortable restful sleep. Support I give this all 10s because it has been the most comfortable bed that ive ever had. My husband who has back problems has had no issues with this mattress.

My husband and I got the Therapedic MemoryTouch Memory Foam Mattresses because we both have a bad back. The guy at the store said it would make us sleep like a baby. Well, it did it's job on that part. The first 2 week's we had it, it was like waking up very refreshed. I loved it. We haven't even had it for 2 years and the memory part is so very true. Don't let anyone else lay in your bed ever if you want to keep it to the form of you because when you lay in a spot on this bed, it take's an imprint of your body and takes it to memory. So, if your a parent like me, you better tell your kids to stay completely away from your bed, which is something I wouldn't do to my kids. Also, what if you loose a bunch of weight, then the bed is formed to your body then not to your body now. Now that I have had this bed for a while, I would love to go back to my pillow top mattress. At least with it, I didn't have to worry about the memory of my body staying in the bed. Comfort It's comfortable for the first 3 weeks, but for a person who tosses and turns, not a good comfort. Support I wake up every morning with kinks in my neck Firmness No firmness at all.

The best sleeping mattress we have ever owned! Comfort My wife and I, who are not heavy people have been through 5 different brands of expensive mattress sets and finally found one which is incredibly comfortable, cool and doesn't sag after a period of time. Support Totally Memory Foam, not just a topper is the way to go! It really supports your back and conforms from head to toe! Firmness Not to firm and not soft. May take some people a few days to get used to but once you've slept on one you won't want to go back to anything else. Durability Wonderful durability. We haven't seen any changes over time.

We purchased this mattress less than 2 weeks ago and I hate it! I've always slept on an inner-spring mattress but the sales guy swore up and down that our quality of sleep would be much better, although I've never had a problem getting a good nights sleep. My husband has back problems so I thought maybe this would help. Maybe it is but now I have back pain! It's bad when I don't look forward to going to bed and would prefer to sleep on the couch. I thought maybe I just needed to adjust to the new mattress like adjusting to a new pillow but two weeks later, I'm still not sold. The first night, I tossed and turned all night waking up two and three times not being able to go back to sleep. Pretty much the same the second and third night. By night four I was so tired from not sleeping well that I probably slept due to fatigue. I'm able to sleep through the night on it but wake up every morning with back aches. It's ridiculous. I really hope they will let us return it since it's been under 30 days. Comfort It's comfortable to sit on to watch tv but forget about laying down. Support I feel like I have no support. I'm a tummy sleeper and this is not the bed for that. Durability I'm guessing poor even though we've only had it for 2 weeks. I imagine it wouldn't last very long. I might take it in the back yard and let the kids jump on it for fun. LOL

Prior to sleeping on a memory foam mattresses, I slept on a normal twin size spring mattress. Now after getting the Therapedic Memory touch memory foam mattresses, I have no idea how I manage to sleep on my other bed. This is the best bed ever. I highly recommend this if you cannot affard to Temperdic bed (which many of us can't). This is really similar to it. At first, the mattress smell was horrible. But it went away within two days for me. I wake up every morning feeling like I got my money worth. I feel refresh from my nights worth of sleeping. It is the best bed I have ever slept on. The price is really afforadable too. If you find a good deal, it's even better. I don't think I can ever return back to a spring mattress.

For the first few months of owning this mattress -- it was a blissful (and cheaper) alternative to the Tempurpedic bed.   It was supportive, soft -- the smell (outgassing) does go away after a few weeks -- but in spite of the sales person assuring me this was the SAME bed as the TempurPedic, and that it would last 20 years....   it did not last a YEAR. I slept on this mattress for many uncomfortalbe months -- now 2 years later and I'm sleeping on the couch instead of in this broken down, mushy mess of a bed.  The foam (inner portion) of the mattress completely compressed and it's actually PAINFUL to sleep on.  I am so sad.  I had such high hopes for this mattress and now I have gone out and purchased a Select-Comfort Sleep number bed. By the way -- I am not a big person.  I'm petite and only 5 feet tall....

This is great alternative to the higher priced tempurpedic bed. great support b/ci have a bad back and had trouble sleeping.i was all set to purchase the higer priced bed when a salesman told me this was prettymuch the same.I actually stay in the same position all night with no tossing or turning and i don't have to pull myself out of the bed in the morning like i used to.
