I love this product! I've always been a big fan of tea tree because of the way it smells along with its natural benefits. The product is amazing at clearing up acne prone skin, black heads, helping skin complexion and gently cleansing the skin. I bought this along with the scrub, toner and lotion. The facial wash itself isn't the best at removing make up because I see some of it come off on the cotton pad when I tone my face. The full line keeps my skin looking and feeling great though so I would definitely recommend buying the whole collection for best results.

My skin continuously gets dry and because it is sensitive it seems that sometimes the wind blows, a piece of dirt ends up on my face and my skin is irritated. Most products I have tried to try and remove the dirt and irritation, only makes it worse. But I read about the health benefits of tea tree oil so I decided to give this is a try and I am really glad I did. I keep this in my shower to wash my face because it never disappoints to provide me with a tingly sensation to wake me up, removing any and all dirt or irritants on my face and it is made with mostly natural ingredients. I would absolutely recommend these and other tea tree oil products from the body shop to anyone, but especially if you have sensitive skin. It is unlikely that it will cause any sensitivity issues to your skin and it will likely be gentle enough to clean your skin like you're hoping for instead of creating more of a problem.

I don't buy a lot of products from The Body Shop because they tend to be more expensive for just as effective products I buy elsewhere. However, as a treat to myself I will sometimes spend a little more than I like. I purchased The Body Shop Tea Tree Skin Clearing Foaming Cleanser mostly because of the tea tree oil it has in it. This is an essential oil that is very good for numerous skin issues. I found it to be a better cleanser than I expected it to be. Effectiveness I have combination skin and often have a hard time finding products that get rid of oil, clogged pores, and acne without over-drying the rest of my face. I actually found this product to be good in this area. It seems to really cleanse my face well. It helped clear my pores and reduce acne. My face didn't feel too tight or dry after using. Overall, I thought this was a really good facial wash. Ease of Application I love pump bottles. They are easy to use and keep bacteria and other contaminants out. You do not need to use a lot and it foams nicely. Scent You can smell the tea tree oil in this. I don't find this a problem because I use and am around essential oils a lot. It is still not as overpowering as other tea tree products I've used. It doesn't smell as yummy as some products do but it is not terrible either.

I love the Body Shop Tea Tree Skin Clearing Foaming Cleanser. The Body Shop always goes above and beyond on their products. You just can't go wrong with them. This cleanser is very nice. It comes in an attractive pump presentation that gives you just the right amount to cleanse your face and neck. It is refreshing and leaves the skin feeling soft and fresh. It helps to control oil buildup and keep pimples and zits to a minimum. Tea tree is a fabulous ingredient! It is soft on the skin and does not leave it irritated. The scent is just the right amount and not overwhelming. I would recommend it to anyone who has oily skin and struggles with breakouts. I love to have two so you can have one at the sink and one in the shower. Effectiveness Really helps control oil and keep it to a minimum. Ease of Application Super simple and fun to take care of your skin with this product. Scent The scent smells of tea tree but is not too strong.

My husband and I used this facial cleanser for a couple of years and it worked great on our skin. We loved that it was a foam because it felt like it rinsed clean off our face. We also liked that it was a pump and you didn't contaminate the soap by touching it or opening the bottle over and over. This cleanser was refreshing and kept our faces clean without drying out our skin. I liked that it didn't make my face feel tight or greasy. It was perfect until it wasn't. All of a sudden one day our faces started itching and feeling different. I don't know if they changed something with the formula or our skin was changing with age. Either way, we had to stop using it. My husband developed a rash and my skin got so red and itchy. Once we stopped using the cleanser our symptoms cleared up. I kept my bottle around and a few months later I pulled it out and tried it again. My face started feeling itchy again so I knew it had to be the cleanser. I was bummed because I really liked using this product.

Normally I love the products The Body Shop offers, but this was a complete failure for me. I ordered this online, and thus did not smell it beforehand, because I had heard good things about it. At the time I was trying just about anything to soothe my cystic acne and figured The Body Shop knew what they were doing and could provide a solid product. When I received this I was eager to try it so I used it that very night before bed. The smell was horrendous. I mean, truly horrendous. I have no words to describe it. It smelled like a kitchen cleaner. I would have been okay with that if it had gone away after you were done washing your face. Unfortunately the smell lingered. And lingered. I used this before bed and actually had to get up about an hour later and wash my face with another product to get rid of the stench. Since I never actually got to use this more than once I really can't comment on its effectiveness long term. The sole time I used it I did not experience any side effects. If you can get past the smell this may be a good option, but for those with sensitive noses this is certainly not for you.

I love the Body Shop Tea Tree Skin Clearing Foaming Cleanser. It helps treat my acne all over my forehead and it's not harsh to my skin at all. It's perfectly suitable for people with sensitive skin such as myself. When I used this foaming cleanser, my skin didn't turn all red or itch at all.

I was looking for something that didn't dry out my skin. Not only does this cleanser do the trick it also helped with clearing my skin. At first I was not crazy about the scent but got over it quickly. The way my face feels after is worth it! I also love the tea tree body wash!

Tea tree is a really great and highly recommended ingredient for calming the skin.It is used to treat a variety of skin irritations.That is why I love the idea of this ingredient being in an acne cleanser.This cleanser is designed especially for oily skin.I have a dry or combination skin type.I'm not sure,but I know it is not oily.Still this product has been really good on my acne.It has reduced the number of breakouts I get in a month.It does dry out my skin which is understandable,but it still works for me.I use facial moisturizer right after cleansing my face so it's no bother.It calms eczema breakouts I have on my face because of the tamanu and tea tree oils.That's the most promising benefit to me.I would still rather use an acne facial cleanser that has salicylic acid as the active ingredient.The solution for me is to mix this with the salicylic acid cleanser to treat my eczema and acne.

Not a huge fan of the The Body Shop but was intrigued by their tea tree oil line. This cleanser did not disapoint. The foaming applicator top made it easy to use, with the actual formula itself smelling "clean" and cleaning pores thoroughly. It is non irritating and actually seemed to help soothe my irritated, broken, acne covered skin. I wear heaving foundation/BB cream and tend to find most cleansers have to be applied/washed off twice to fully get the makeup off. This cleanser only had to be used once. The tea tree oil in the formula really does a good job of killing deep down bacteria in the pores and helps prevent future breakouts. The price is also a great attribute of this product: very economical & often offered in package deals/B2G1 free offers. When you run out a special trip has to be made to pick it up from the body shop (inconvenient), not as simple as just running to the grocery or drugstore. Effectiveness A cleanser is not going to work miracles, but this one certainly comes close Ease of Application Easy, foamy & pleasant Scent Fresh/Tea Tree Oil
