I have fibromyalgia, rheumatoid arthritis, & lots of other medical issues with both my back, & neck. If I do not use my pillow I have a very hard time falling asleep. If I do fall asleep without it I wake up in extreme pain, & have a headache for several hours. Many times I need to take prescribed pain medications after. My children love my pillow also.

This pillow was recommended by my chiropractor to lessen the neck and back pain. It has definitely done its job. The discomfort in both areas has lessened and I sleep much more comfortably. The high cost of the pillow is my only complaint. I've been told that pillows should be repurchased every year to maintain the best performance.

After purchasing the Tempur-Pedic Contour Pillow, I have been able to get not only a full eight hours of sleep each night, but I also do not wake up anymore. I used to have a difficult time falling asleep, and I would often wake up three or four times throughout the night to adjust my sleeping position. In addition, I would wake up in the morning with neck pains from moving around so much and constantly having to change my position just so I could fall asleep. With the Tempur-Pedic Contour Pillow, I am now able to get a good night's rest. I no longer wake up in the middle of the night, and I have not woken up with neck pains once. At first, I thought the pillow would be hard and extremely uncomfortable to use while sleeping. However, I had no problems adjusting to a harder pillow, and I even found that I preferred this type of pillow compared to ones I used in the past! It will truly change the way you sleep.

I have been using a queen-sized Tempur-Pedic Contour Pillow for three years now and I can not sleep with any other type of pillow. At first, the pillow was hard and uncomfortable to sleep with so I sat on it for a day or two to soften it up. After that, it became pure bliss everytime I rest my head on it. At first, I purchased the "original" twin version of the pillow, but after a few days I decided it was too thin for me to feel completely comfortable and exchanged it for the only other size, which is the one I have at the moment. I sleep on the larger contour and have found it provides tremendous support for your neck. It was awkward to get used to at first, but after a few days I could not sleep without it. The support is also great if you have a minor injury to the neck. I have tweaked and sprained my neck several times from snowboarding; this pillow came through during those paralytic times, providing stabilization and comfort while I lay in bed. By the way, I love the smell of the pillow when it is new.

I have a lot of neck and back problems, so I'm always on the lookout for a great pillow.  When I first bought this Tempur-Pedic Contour Pillow, it worked well and didn't give me any neck pains for months.  Then as time went by, I noticed that my neck pain was coming back.  The pillow design is decent but not good enough for people with severe neck and back problems as myself.  The pillow itself is actually kind of low and not that comfortable to begin with, but I used it anyways because I figured the design was helping my neck and back problems.  However, after my neck pains came back, I gave the pillow to a family member who doesn't have neck and back problems.  All tempur-pedic pillows are usually heavy, expensive, and too warm.  The material made to cover the pillow makes it very warm in the summertime which is definitely not pleasurable at all.  If it works, then I don't think it's too expensive, but since it doesn't work that well for me, I would definitely consider it expensive.

This precious pillow of mine costed an arm and a leg. After hearing wonderful things from my friends I decided to give it a try. This is not a bad pillow by any means, in fact it is very comfortable and it offers versatility as do most products made with memory foam technology. This pricey pillow of mine is problematic from an aesthetic perspective. It does not look well on my bed and I have actually opted to store it in the closet instead making the experience of using it more like a ritual. In addition to the aesthetic concerns it is almost non-realistic to expect to find a pretty pillowcase which will match the rest of your room decor. Now to the mechanics of the thing. It is comfy beyond belief for your head but it is not a hugging pillow. After a few months of usage it smells funny and you can't really wash the whole pillow. I tried and it caused for it to smell worst. The terry cloth pillow cover is pretty nice but it quickly turns yellow instead of white. I think it is possible to go to a cheaper brand and find a better value

This pillow is hands down by far the BEST PILLOW EVER!  I have been using this suckers since I was 18 and never have I regretted my purchase!  Let me start off by saying that I have to visit the chiropractor for neck and back adjustments.  He said one of the best things that I have done for my health was using this pillow.  I just wish I would have found it sooner.  The contour of the pillow can be tricky.  It did take me a while to get used to it, but once I found my perfect position, this thing makes me fall asleep like a baby.  Whenever I travel I take my pillow with me.  If I am traveling somewhere far and unfortuantely cannot take my pillow with me, I am hating everyday because no other pillow is like this.  My boyfriend, when he is not feeling well, will ask to use it, and being the nice girlfriend, I let him borrow it (but only for a few days).  Whenever I stay at someone's house and they see my pillow, they always ask about it and want to try it out.   This is an excellent gift for you and for anyone you know!
