Everything about this mattress is great except for the height and weight. It is by far the most comfortable mattress I have ever slept on. We have been sleeping on it for about 3 years and can't imagine switching to anything else. It is neither hard nor soft but is fairly firm. And I do not find it hard to turn over during the night at all. However, it is very thick and even though I am 5'7" I have to climb up on the side rail to get into bed. And it is impossible to rotate the king size, which weighs 185 lbs., and is even kind if difficult to change as it's very hard to tuck the sheets and blankets under the mattress since it is so heavy. Even with these problems though I love this mattress because of the wonderful night's sleep it provides.

When we bought this matress set, I was completely unprepared for the weight and difficulty moving it. I was at the beginning of my first pregnancy and was having a lot of trouble sleeping. Its much firmer than I expected it to be - which is great because I like a firm bed. The salesperson told us it would soften up throughout the first month or so...if he hadn't we probably would've returned it after the first two weeks. Once it was broken in, I couldn't stop talking about how great it was and how wonderfully I slept. It's biggest downfall is it's weight. If you're going to be staying in one place for a while, its a great buy. If you end up having to move a couple times, it may be more hassle than its worth. And if you try to pick it up by the attached handles, you WILL tear them off. I've never had a better or more restful night of sleep in my life but I wouldn't recommend for military families or anyone else that moves frequently. Was a blessing for my back problems until I tried to move it...

This bed is not only uncomfortable to sleep in, but the morning after I am stiff, sore, exhausted, and CRANKY! I'm a light sleeper and tend to change positions often, so when I roll over in this bed not only is it a huge effort to "escape" the dent I've made, I can't fall asleep again until a new dent re-forms. Even *sitting* on this bed is uncomfortable. It has no bounce or softness and while it does conform to your body, the feeling is less like nestling and more like being trapped. Definitely not on my list of mattress contenders!

My husband and I have been looking for a mattress that we can both agree on...as of right now this is the vote that we both can agree on.  When we went to the mattress store in our local mall it was challenging to find a mattress.  No one wanted to help us by virtue of the fact that we appear young.  Not only was the sales rep at this specific brands store nice and helpful, but when we both laid down on the mattress it was as though it were hand made for us...it was amazing...i can't wait to get ours home!

I experienced this mattress at a hotel that I stayed....The best night sleep....It truly fits the structure of your body.....You feel like you slept on a cloud.....such comfort......It has many different programs to help assist you in purchasing this product.....If you purchase it locally in one of your local furniture stores, then it is according to the local store's policy....I am still saving to purchase this item....it truly is costly but like the princess......she could feel the pea....The princess would never feel a pea if she slept on this mattress.

I purchased this mattress 3 months ago.  Although expensivev, it is the most comfortable bed that I have ever owned.  It retains it's shape, and provides support.  I no longer have back aches when I wake up.  Also, there is minimal movement when a partner turns.

Tempurpedic Celebrity Bed - be afraid - be very afraid... Do NOT purchase this bed unless you are looking for a gift for your mortal enemy.  We have slept on this monstrosity since 2004 and we have been waking up in constant pain for the last 3 years.  Talking to Tempurpedic is like talking to the salesman that has the perfect screen door for your submarine...  When we started to notice an issue (i.e., the pain), they required us to pick up the 500 pound mattress, put on the floor (flat) and look for a .75 inch sag and send them pictures and so on...  In the wise words of Charlie Brown, " GOOD GRIEF!'.  They won't tell you that their 'wonderful' foam softens over time.  They DON'T want you to know that.  News flash - the bed will soften in a couple of years and you will be in serious pain.  We are young and we hurt from this bed.  The bed is also HOT and I mean hot.  Sort of like being a jalepeno chalupa.  The won't tell you the extra foam 'pillow' layer moves so that it will end up hanging off the side of the bed.  Try moving it back every few nights.  Now that is some kind of fun...  And your sheets will not stay on - not even with industrial staples.  Each night our sheets - which happen to be top-of-the-line and deep pocket sheets - fly off and we wake up practically mummified.  They also won't tell you that the bed stinks for like a year - again - run away if you are sensitive to smells.  Go ahead - start running - what are you waiting for - run away from this bed.  Run fast!!!

We purchased our King size TempurPedic Celebrity Mattress in 2004 and have regretted the purchase ever since, especially given the huge expense. Beginning with getting in the bed, for the average height woman, it is a climb. Once in the bed, I find it difficult to fall asleep because I am not the kind of person who can get into bed and fall asleep; it takes me several tries to find the perfect position and with this bed it is difficult to change positions since you sink into a huge divot, which requires great effort to escape each time. I also must say that getting out of bed in the morning is even more difficult because I haven't experienced a good night of sleep. As a person with chronic pain in my joints and muscles, I am very surprised that this bed has received commendation by the Arthritis Foundation. Beyond the disappointing and actual fatiguing sleeping issues of this mattress, it also has many other disappointing and frustrating issues. Let's start that finding sheets to fit this mattress, it is impossible. I have purchased 4 different types of sheets (adding to the initial expense of this bed) and each of them shift during the night and end up popping off; you find yourself tangled in the morning. I am not a person who likes to make by bed from ground up every morning. Getting the fitted sheet onto the mattress is a struggle and takes a lot of tugging and pulling. We eventually decided to forgo the bottom sheet and just sleep on the Luxurious cashmere cover, which, I must say is very nice to touch, but after a week or so we needed to wash the cover. This leads to yet another issue; it is a major pain to take off! You actually have to take apart all of the separate baffles, sliding each out of its own pocket in the cover; easily 45 minutes to disassemble, just to wash the cover. You will double the time and effort to reassemble the cover and mattress baffles. And yet another negative with this bed is that after a year of use, all of the baffles began to sag off one side of the bed. Lastly, I must comment, and I will not go into details, but even after five years of ownership we still find it difficult and cumbersome to be intimate in our bed.
