Maybe I just have too much stuff on my desk, but the Techni Mobili Regency L-shaped computer desk and workstation is the only desk that allows me to actually stay organized without 15 million piles on my desk. The L-shaped aspect helps me keep everything separated rather than merely having a spot for my desktop computer. The mahogany color is gorgeous and so professional looking. One of my favorite features is the spider-like legs. They are so modern looking and allow me to easily vacuum under the desk. I'm not actually a fan of the keyboard tray as it places my arms uncomfortably low when typing. I would much rather that just be a storage drawer. In regards to storage, that is the only other thing lacking in this workstation. My Mac computer does not have an external CPU, so most of the bottom space is wasted. I would gladly trade the legs of the desk for built-in shelves, drawers and filing cabinets.

I needed to replace my corner shaped desk unit and was dreading doing so. Then I found the Techni Mobile Regency 68" W L Computer Workstation. It was even in a dark color that would blend fairly nicely with the dark bookcases I have. It did take me awhile to assemble this workstation, but it was well worth the effort. The surface of this workstation holds up very well. I have done a lot of different things on the top of this workstation but have not scratched it or stained it. I love the raised shelf unit in the corner. It gives added usable space I didn't have with my old workstation. I did not like the light colored metal legs though. I think the metal should have been a darker color. It would have been more pleasing to the eye. Of course you could always paint them. I like the metal supports that are on the back of the workstation. It adds stability. I don't use the shelf in the corner on the bottom for computer items. I use it for large books that don't fit on my bookshelves. The keyboard shelf works smoothly when I pull it out or push it back in.

Pros: The dark wood looks very nice. I find it aesthetically appealing when I'm looking at the desk top. I love the L shape this desk has. It is so functional without wasting space. You can put it in the corner without actually wasting that corner area like you would if you were just using two desks. You don't have to have the corner of the L shape in the corner, and it doesn't lose any of its functionality. I like the pullout board for the keyboard. I like being able to use that area of the desk without having to move the keyboard. I like the raised shelf in the corner L, it gives me just a little bit more desktop, and it great for displaying photos or kick knacks. Cons: I don't like the legs. They're stainless steal and they do not match with the rest of the desk. It's a dark wood and then you have light shiny metal, it just looks out of place and tacky. A darker metal would've been much better. I don't like the metal panels that go on the back of the desk. I assume it's so if you have your desk facing out, people can't see your lap and legs as well, but I think it just looks awful. Overall it's a great desk if you don't care that it looks pretty tacky.

My home office has been completely transformed with the addition of the Techni Mobili Regency Computer Workstation. I have been able to eliminate some of the excessive pieces of furniture that has collected over time in my home office and consolidate all of my technology down to one workstation. There is space for the printer/scanner as well as the CPU of one of my computers. The keyboard tray enables more desktop space to be constantly available, which is especially helpful when I am using my workstation for projects other than those that are on the computer. In addition, the desktop stance is extremely easy to keep clean and maintain. I have not had any issues with scratching or discoloring/staining no matter what I have put on it's surface. I am thankful that I have not caused any coffee mug ring stains to appear either. Techni Mobili has built a product that I recommend to anyone looking to reorganize their home office.
