Great as a dip, but it can be used in so many ways!

*This product has been discontinued by Tastefully Simple, and is no longer available*. **Tastefully Simple Warm the Oven Savory Cheese Dip Mix** is a warm, flavorful cheesy dip that you can buy through your Tastefully Simple consultant or by attending taste-testing parties. **Warm the Oven Savory Cheese Dip Mix** has the delicious flavors of onion, garlic and tomato.  The reason why I like this product so much, is because it is a lot more than just a dip; it is a versatile product that can be a condiment, appetizer or anything you can think of. To make the dip, you just add cream cheese to the mix and let it sit in the fridge for 2 hours.  After a couple hours of flavor melding in the fridge, just heat in the microwave and enjoy!  The dip will be warm, creamy and loaded with flavor.  The garlic is very pronounced, so if you are a garlic lover, you will enjoy this. One of my favorite ways to use **Warm the Oven Savory Cheese Dip Mix** is to prepare it like a dip, but then stuff it into mushroom caps, sprinkle with panko bread crumbs and bake in the oven.  When they come out of the oven, the filling will be hot and melted, the bread crumbs will crisp and they make perfect appetizers. Some other ways you could use **Warm the Oven Savory Cheese Dip Mix:** - Spread onto pizza dough, sprinkle with cheese and toppings and bake - Add prepared dip to mashed potatoes, for creamy flavorful potatoes - Heat dip and serve with crackers, celery or carrots - Make crescents by spreading dip on crescent dough, folding and bake **The Scoop!** The possibilities are endless with this product.  I love it as a dip, but my favorite is still the stuffed mushrooms.  This is great to have on hand for Super Bowl parties, family get-togethers or to just snack on!

This, as well as all of the Tastefully Simple products are extremely easy to make and taste great! It's great for entertaining, and only uses  cream cheese to make.  Can be served warm or cold, with crackers or pretzels.   This is one of the products that made me sign up as a consultant!

You only add 1 ingredient to make this delicious dip, let it sit in the refrigerator for a couple hours, and then warm it up.   I serve it with crackers and it is always a hit!  So tasty, so simple!

This is a wonderful alternative to the usual dips. Simple to make. Children love it. So easy a child can make it. My husband loves dips and unusual tastes and he loved it. We do a great deal of entertaining and this is an easy way to whip up a simple dip that looks like you spent hours making it.

makes a good appetizer

This cheese dip is warm and garlicy. It makes a good appetizer and goes well with hearthy crackers. You only have to add 1 ingredient (cream cheese), so it's simple to make. The only drawback is trying to keep it warm. You wind up constantly reheating it. It's good to keep in the pantry for unexpected guests or when asking someone "what can I bring?"

Magically delicious!

I voiced my opinion the other day about how I feel about cream cheese.  As you might guess, I had ended up with almost a whole tub of Kraft Philadelphia Reduced Fat You-Know-What which tasted almost like the original, alas.  My taste tip was that cream cheese tasted okay (I guess) spread on warm whole grain toast and topped with a thin layer of [Smucker's Sugar-Free Jam][1] .  I could see that it was going to take forever to use it all up that way (and I could hardly give it away with some of it gone).  Fortunately for me, upon closer inspection of my private kitchen stock, I found a better idea for using cream cheese -- ***Warm The Oven! Savory Cheese Dip Mix***.  This is another great product from the kitchens of ***Tastefully Simple*** which consists of two .75 oz. packets of a dehydrated seasoning containing onion, tomato, garlic and spices.  You mix a packet with 8 ounces of cream cheese (or a little less which is what I had) and chill for a couple hours.  Heating it in the microwave for a minute or two magically transforms it into a warm fluffy dip which is perfect for dipping chips, small crackers or pieces of bread.  **STATS:** A serving size is considered to be one tsp. dry mix with 16 servings to a container.  The stats apparently are given for the mix before anything is added to it.  In each serving of mix there are ten calories with zero calories from fat, 5 mg. Sodium, 2 grams Total Carbs and zero Protein.  (See my review for [Kraft Philadelphia Reduced Fat Cream Cheese][2] for nutritional stats for that product.)  **TASTE TIP:** Although ***Tastefully Simple's Warm the Oven Savory Cheese Dip Mix*** is delicious used as a dip or spread, it also made a wonderful supper when spread over a hot baked potato, topped with a thin layer of [Prego Pasta Sauce][3] and canned chopped mushrooms and returned to the microwave for 30 seconds.  (A little of this delicious mix goes a long way and refrigerates beautifully for another day.  My baked potato supper was very filling, economical and tasty as well!)  **WHERE TO BUY:** ***Tastefully Simple's Warm the Oven Savory Cheese Dip Mix*** is not available in stores.  I bought mine from [This2ShallPass19][4] , who included a catalog with my order.         [1]: http://www.viewpoints.com/Smuckers-Sugar-Free-Seedless-Blackberry-Jam-review-c6bd5 [2]: http://www.viewpoints.com/Philadelphia-1-3-Less-Fat-Soft-Cream-Cheese-review-9cec3 [3]: http://www.viewpoints.com/Prego-Heart-Smart-Onion-amp-Garlic-Italian-Sauce-review-2e9d5 [4]: http://www.viewpoints.com/aboutme/this2shallpass19

This is great to have in your pantry for unexpected guests.  It should be mixed ahead and refridgerated for an hour or so before baking but in a pinch it is not needed.  My family loves it but they are BIG garlic fans.  For a lighter flavor add more cream cheese and serve with a simple cracker or breadsticks.
