This is a very fresh and entertaining Real Time Strategy game on a massive scale. The interplanetary skirmishes in its complex multiplayer could take from several hours to several days. Battles are fought between human and various alien races over control of the colossal map. Players must build up their galactic economies to launch full scale invasions on other players, and defend against raiding pirates. As a player conquers more and more planets and territory, the balance of power shifts and will ultimately decide the victor. Each race has certain specialties that aid them in their quest for galactic conquest. This game and the rest in its series are definitely worth getting. The game is multiplayer only and offers an experience like nothing else! So grab some friends or go online to wage a war of unprecedented scale. Since there are other games on the series, I would also advise checking those out.
