This shampoo and conditioner system has really given me much healthier hair. I live where the water is very very hard and my hair was so tangled from the splits. Once I started using this, it pretty much fixed it within a week. I love the way it smells and I find that my hair is staying cleaner for longer, so I don't have to wash it as frequently. Effectiveness The was a minor improvement after the first wash, but after about a week of usage, my ends were much less dull and were not breaking every time I put my hair in a bun. Using a straightener is now an option for me too! I do think I should note that I am basically conditioning twice to get these results. I use the shampoo, then a treseme conditioner and then the split end treatment after that. So that makes it a little more work and slightly more expensive, but the results, for me at least, are worth it! Scent It smells a little bit like dryer sheets, which is a little bit strange for a shower product but makes you smell super fresh and clean! My husband really likes the way my hair smells when I use this too.

I received 2 sample bottles of TRESemme Split Remedy Split End Shampoo and conditioner in the mail. They are both 1 fluid ounce in size, which is nice, as I can get 3 shampoos out of the little black bottle. The shampoo is pearly in color, and feels great when applied to wet hair. My hair is always dry, because of backcombing it and using hairspray, but I found the TRESemme to work straight through it. I had a good lather, and worked from scalp to split ends. I left in on for about 5 minutes before rinsing it off. I then used the bottle of conditioner to work with it. When I took the comb through my hair, it was soft, and smooth. I have to say that this shampoo worked after one treatment. It states on the bottle that there is an 80% improvement after 3 uses. This is a quality product and my hair is proof of this. I do buy TRESemme products and will continue to do so. Effectiveness My hair was tangle free, and looked healthier. Scent Light floral fragrance.
