I have brunette hair that I had bleached and then dyed back to brunette. So, my hair gets brassy pretty quickly. I started using bedhead Dumb Blonde during my blonde phase and it really helped keep my hair cool and not brassy. I had some left over and decided to try it on my brown hair. It actually works to help cool down brunette hair! I use it a few times a week now. It takes alot more and more use to see the results on brown hair but it definitely helps.

Yet again, another fantastic product by TIGI. Many pass it by due to the price of the product. However, if you take in to consideration how long it will last, it is totally worth it. Also, I always shop around to get the best price. I can almost always find it at a reduced price. And when I do, I buy a few!  Dumb blonde shampoo really keeps my hair protected and moisturized because of the coloring and all of the heat my hair is exposed to. My bright blonde is kept unfaded until my next hair appointment. I typically pair the Dumb Blonde Shampoo with the Dumb Blonde Conditioner. It only takes a small amount to lather up in my long hair, and rinses out easily. This shampoo also aids in shine enhancement. Although I am a natural blonde, I know brunettes who also use this shampoo with the same results. Scent I love the fresh, sweet scent of this shampoo. It is pleasant but not overpowering.

This product was a little expensive and more than I was used to spending. My hair dresser told me to try it to make my blond hair look radiant. I get my hair highlighted every 8 weeks or so and she said this would help keep my hair looking bright and radiant until my next hair appointment. I bought it and it really did make my hair look great! I like using it around 3 weeks after getting my high lights done, that seems to be when my hair would fade and look dull. Bed Head is more expensive that most brands, but you really get what you pay for. I do not need a lot of this product on my hair and one bottle really lasts a long time for me, so it is well worth the extra expense. I love this product and how it makes my hair look very radiant and healthy. Effectiveness My hair color looks great, and my hair feels even better. It leaves my hair feeling clean and soft. My hair is very manageable and healthy looking. Scent The scent is light, yet fragrant.

I have done hair for ten years and am very familiar with many product lines, TIGI being no exception. I really love TIGI Dumb Blonde shampoo and conditioner. I really enjoy all the scents of the TIGI line, but this is my favorite. This shampoo in particular though, is more than just a delicious smell. It's awesome in making any over-processed blonde hair feel so much better, and this is because of the proteins in it helping to repair the hair just by using a shampoo and conditioner. It is also very nice smelling in the hair even hours afterward! Effectiveness I have definitely used better products, but for the price, this really is a great option. It is one I almost always have in my shampoo and conditioner arsenal. Scent Admittedly, the yummy smell is probably half of the reason I like it so well. Don't get me wrong, it works very well! I am just a sucker for a scent I like. It is very citrusy and tropical, and makes the whole bathroom smell wonderful! Plus, my husband likes it, which is always a plus!

I purchased this shampoo after I had my hair highlighted within an inch of its life. All of my hair was nearly blonde by the time I was done. I was really impressed with how this shampoo helped my damaged hair heal. My hair felt softer, stronger, and overall was nicer after about a week of using it. It helped my split ends and made my hair brighter and definitely cleaner. The whole set is truly wonderful, but the shampoo got my hair really clean and made it shiny, but still soft. My hair did not even seem damaged after awhile. I was really happy that I had invested in this shampoo. I think I would recommend it to anyone with chemically treated blonde hair. It will brighten, heal, and clean your distressed locks. It is truly surprising how well this shampoo worked. Effectiveness This shampoo did everything the bottle listed and then some. It went over and above for my hair. Scent This shampoo had a nice scent that stayed with my hair for at least forty eight hours after I used the shampoo. I really enjoyed the nice smell.

Just like I wasn't a fan of the Bedhead Dumb Blonde Conditioner. I am not a fan of the Dumb Blonde Shampoo either. When I was using this shampoo my hair was chemically treated, and very dry to the touch. I thought this shampoo would be great because it has keratin and protein in it. But I was wrong. I don't know if I got a bad bottle of this shampoo or what but it did awful things to my hair. It made my hair feel really greasy and unclean. My scalp and my hair looked like I hadn't washed my hair in a week or two. It made my hair feel extremely weighed down and tangled up. I couldn't brush my hair or style it without it looking limp and lifeless. It also has sulfates in it, which didn't protect my hair color what so ever, and made my hair look brassy quick, since it was yellow in color instead of purple. I couldn't tell if the shampoo would have made my hair any stronger or not because it left a terrible thick coating on my hair. It the smell of this product was terrible and didn't smell nice like other Bedhead products do. I ended up throwing it away. I would not recommend this. If you're blonde you'd be better off getting a purple shampoo. Effectiveness It didn't clean my hair at all, it left it greasy and oily. Overall the shampoo was too thick for my hair type. It didn't help my dry damaged hair at all. The shampoo weighed my hair down and made it feel tangled and brittle. Scent Like I said I don't know if my bottle was bad or not. The Bedhead dumb blonde reconstructor smells like bananas and candy. This shampoo smelled like body odor.

I just want to preface my rating with the fact that I only use this product for a specific purpose, and not for every day use. I get an oily scalp, so I need a shampoo that lathers really well and can actually make my scalp feel squeaky clean. Although this isn't what the shampoo is specifically advertised to do, it fits my needs. This is a protein shampoo, which is great for people who chemically treat their hair, and I perm my hair. I am not a blonde, but you don't have to be blonde to use it, obviously. I haven't noticed a difference from using this shampoo on the quality of my hair, and that is probably because I rely on protein conditioners to do that for me, so you may not get the results you're looking for if you want a protein packed shampoo but don't follow it up with a protein conditioner. Not many shampoos lather well, smell nice, AND deep clean my hair down to the scalp and roots. That's where the oil and smell is, so that's what you need to shampoo. This is the best shampoo I currently own for this task, and I have about 4 shampoos in my shower right now, all for different purposes. The pump is very convenient, and the scent is very fresh. Since I only use this about once or twice a week for deep cleaning, I purchase this when it's on sale or when I have a coupon. Effectiveness The effectiveness is a 10 for the purpose I use it for, which is for deep cleaning. Scent I love the way this smells, and I wish I could use it every day.

Effectiveness It strengthens hair to reduce breakage. And is designed for color treated hair. Anyone can use this product, not just people with blonde hair. Brunettes, and even those people with nairual, uncolored hair will reap the benefits from this shampoo as well. Its a balanced cleansing system that removes buildup without further drying your hair out. This shampoo and conditioner combo also improves vibrancy and shine while protecting existing color treatments. Scent The scent of these two products in the Dumb Blonde line from TIGI smell insanely amazing! Fresh and clean and it produces and nice big lather that will wake up your nose without a doubt! If I had to put a finger on it, I would say it smells like fresh spring sunshine wrapped up in a bottle. Its THAT good!

I purchase this usually this specific set every year around Christmas. You can get really good deals at your local salon. It's also a great stocking stuffer or gift. I love the way it makes her hair smell as well as how soft and supple it is after washes. I use it myself and I have dark cores hair. It also makes my hair really soft and my curl bouncy. You hair feels stronger and healthier with each use. You don't have to use much, maybe a dimes worth. We were buying shampoo and conditioner monthly. Now we buy every few months. The good stuff last longer because you don't have to use as much. You're also not coating your hair with wax. Effectiveness One of my favorite brands and sets that they offer. Use it for a couple of months and you will see a huge difference in your hair. It will feel healthier and stronger. The shine is incredible, honestly. Scent Love the smell with this set, it stays all day and smells amazing. It's fruity and delicious.

This worked really well for me through middle school, but once I got into high school, I upgraded to a better shampoo. My hair is really thin, so I have to have a good shampoo that volumizes my hair without weighing it down. I'm a natural blonde, and this kept my color bright throughout middle school. Since I've stopped using it, my hair has gotten a little darker, though I'm not sure if that would've happened anyway. I love the smell of this, and I think it's good for littler kids, but once you get into high school and college, I don't think this is the right shampoo for you. Effectiveness It works well and keeps your hair volumized and shiny, without taking away the color. I recommend you try it, but I think most people grow out of it, mostly because of the name/brand of the shampoo. Scent I liked the smell of it. I think it would work for a lot of different people, not just little kids or older adults. The smell is universal, and everyone used to compliment me on how good my hair smelled when I used it.
