I first discovered Bed Head Dumb Blond conditioner, and the corresponding shampoo, when I was dying my hair blond and concerned with keeping my hair conditioned and my color from fading or getting brassy. It worked well then and now that I am back to my natural color (light brown) with some highlights and lowlights I still really like it. It does a great job of maintaining the color of my highlights and leaves my hair soft, smooth and shiny. It is really thick so it stays in my hair well without dripping into my eyes when I put it in and then let it sit while I finish my shower. I have very thick hair that depending on its mood can be curly, wavy or poofy and this helps keep my hair smooth and my ends look and feel great. Even when I heat style my hair it stays hydrated and smooth and doesn't get that "crispy" feeling that heat styling can cause. It also smells really good. And the scent lasts without being overpowering.

I absolutely love Bedhead and the Bedhead dumb blonde re-constructer deep conditioner, so I thought I would try out the regular dumb blonde conditioner as well. My hair at one point was terribly damaged from going blonde and changing my hair color too often. I needed a new conditioner to try and help revive my hair again. I had bought this after they had changed the packaging and possibly even reformulated it. Overall, I didn't like this conditioner. I thought it would help bring my hair back to life, and put some protein back into it while keeping it moisturized. It didn't. My hair felt like the conditioner just coated it, making it appear more unhealthy then it already was, and really weighed down. It worked a lot worse then any drugstore conditioner that I could've bought for a lot cheaper. My hair still felt tangled and dry. It didn't appear shiny at all. This product has protein in it, so I thought it would penetrate my hair and put some protein back into it. It didn't. I was really disappointed, but other Bedhead products have worked extremely well for me. If you really want to try the dumb blonde line, I would highly recommend the dumb blonde re-constructer that actually works. I will do a whole different review on that product. I even recommend to try out the Bedhead products for pets, called Pet Head. They work amazing, I use them on my cat Oreo. Effectiveness This didn't even make my hair feel conditioned. It made it feel rough and weighed down. Scent The dumb blonde deep conditioner smells like banana laffy taffy so I thought the regular conditioner would smell equally as good. NO! This smells like straight up cat pee. I couldn't get over the scent of this product enough to keep using it. The results it gave definitely weren't worth putting up with the smell.

I have tried just about every conditioner that is out there, but there is one product that is heads above the rest - Dumb Blonde! It just takes a very small amount and your hair is so very soft and tangle free. It does wonders for your hair. Effectiveness It works quickly and so effectively you will be amazed with this product...just give it a try and you will see. My hair was so dry and brittle when I started using this product (over 12 yes twelve years ago) I am just as happy with it today as I was the first time I put it in my hair.. It combs out easily with a minimal amount of breakage and no tangles. It really is like a miracle. And over time your hair will be shinier, smoother and more manageable. It makes your hair soft from the rrot to the ends. Scent Oh my gosh it is so sweet smelling like a field of flowers and it will last for hours, while it leaves your hair so clean feeling and so fresh smelling. The wonderful flowery smell last well up into 2 days and I guess it could go on longer! I just love this product and will not use anything else on my hair. It will only take a very snmall amount to keep your hair happy, I can purchase a tube or the bottle and it will last me for about one yes (1) year, and that is just unheard of with anyother conditioner that I know of or have ever used. Really you must try this product it is the best.

I am always using Bed Head products because they seem to work for my hair type: dyed 3 shades lighter blonde, naturally curly/wavy and frizzy and occasionally heat styled. My hair used to be very damaged and so I purchased the dumb blonde conplete line to help as I revived my hair. The shampoo and reconstructor of the dumb blonde line was okay. The conditioner I did not like at all. It left a sticky coating on my hair and my hair was weighed down. The scent was also very gross smelling. I couldn't get over the smell enough to try the conditioner again to see if it would help revive my hair. For me, this was a waste of money and there are better products out there for blonde hair or to help repair damaged hair. Effectiveness Left a gross coating on my hair after only one use. Scent This conditioner smelled like something was burnt in it. It stayed in my hair until I washed it again and it was not pleasant to me.

I'm still exploring the whole TIGI line of products, especially for dry/color-treated hair. I've been using Aveda faithfully and switched to the Dumb Blonde conditioner recently, based on a friend's recommendation. It is thick, which made me think it would work well (I'm not sure why I thought that.). When it's on, it feels great. Once it's rinsed off, I don't feel like my hair is as "treated" as it should be, for a conditioner that claims to be specially formulated for what I call "tortured" hair. I've noticed is an increase in minor blemishes - likely from rinsing the conditioner out immediately before ending a shower. I definitely find myself using Pureology leave-on conditioner before styling. My hair also feels a little rough and dry, immediately following towel-drying. I've also tried the men's peppermint conditioner. Combining that with the Dumb Blonde seems to boost the detangling and smoothing effects.

I heart Bed Head Products period.  But i really love the bed head dumb blonde conditioner.  First off the product smells awesome and the wonderful scent doesn't fade out througout the day, which is awesome. Second of all it keeps color treated hair beautiful and soft.  It makes my hair silky smooth and gives it body while maintaining my highlights and not letting them fade.  Its a little pricey but i found that ulta and other stores like that have frequent sales where you basically get the conditioner for the price hair stylist pay, so its not too shabby of a deal.  Even if you have to a pay a litle more its so worth it, its a great quality and effective product.  Hair is important and it will help your hair to look its best all the time.  It also keeps hair from drying out due to blow drying or flat irons.  It helps your hair ot maintain its moisture and prevents most heat damage like split ends.  whohoo go out and get some.

I absolutely love using bed head's dumb blonde conditioner!! It really is the only thing that I have found that makes my hair feel better after just one use.  My hair is really fragile as I use alot of heated style tools on it and I over process it with color and straighting perms.  This conditioner has kept my hair feeling and looking healthy, allowing it to finally be able to grow without all breaking off.  One great thing about this conditioner is that is can be used on a daily basis without making your hair look or feel frizzy, but if you are feeling like you need a real moisture boost, it can also be used as a mask.  I think this is awesome because it is one less hair product that you have to purchase!!  I also like it because i does not have an over powering scent to it.  It makes your hair smell fresh and clean instead of giving you a headache.  Its flexible bottle also makes it great for traveling because it takes up less room!
