This skillet meal from T.G.I Friday is good but it is not worth the money in my opinion. I can see that it makes cooking easier because they have included the main ingredients in the bag for you. It includes grilled chicken strips, bell peppers, onions, and six tortillas. The tortillas are really small and they are very stingy on the amount of chicken strips that they include! The peppers and onions were also a bit soggy, not fresh and crisp. This skillet meal package might be good for one person to make a meal from, but for two or more, no way! My boyfriend and I tried it and were disappointed. We decided that we would be better off buying our own veggies, tortilla shells, and cooking our own chicken. That way, we could be sure to get fresh quality and the right amount of ingredients needed to make an actual meal!
Deceptive Marketing...bait and switch!
The product packaging implied a complete fajita meal for two... the quality was diappointing...the vegetables were mush and tasteless....there was barely any meat....the four or five pieces included were very small slivers....the package exterior had a picture of sizzling, colorful, vegetables combined with lots of large hunks of juicy meat! All depicted under the familiar TGI Fridays Logo... I am so disapointed not only will I never purchase this product again...I don't plan on dining at TGI Fridays either! I felt like I got punked on this purchase!
Definitely not worth the money
This skillet meal will definitely NOT feed 3 people, unless you like only 1 or 2 pieces of meat in your fajita. It was 10% mean, 90% onions and peppers which had a weird taste. Don't waste your money.

Very blah! Soggy and pretty much flavorless. I actually laughed when I saw the amount of meat that came in the bag...I knew at that point that I got robbed! I guess if a person doesn't like a lot of meat or a lot of flavor then this would be the perfect food because it lacked both. On a good note...it is very quick and easy to make! Overall very disappointing...the picture makes them look very tasty though!
This bag includes everything you need for fajitas!
If I could, I would give this product 3.5 stars. Some parts of it are 3 stars and some are 4. The **T.G.I. Friday's Complete Skillet Meals** are designed to be "Sizzling flavor combinations of T.G.I. Friday's restaurants."
The **T.G.I. Friday's Complete Skillet Meals** are available in the freezer section and come in a bag that includes everything you need to make the dinner. The **Sizzling Chicken Fajitas** include: Grilled white meat chicken strips, fire roasted onions, green bell peppers, red bell peppers and six flour tortillas. The only thing you might want to add is: cheese, salsa, guacamole or sour cream. Besides those, you have a complete dinner in a bag.
One of my complaints about the **T.G.I. Friday's Complete Skillet Meal - Sizzling Chicken Fajitas **is that you barely get any chicken. This meal is supposed to feed 2-3 people and the amount of chicken they give you looks like one sliced chicken breast. You get a lot of fire roasted veggies, 6 flour tortillas and only one chicken sliced chicken breast? My other complaint is that the veggies, although flavorful, were soggy. Even though you cook them in the pan on high heat, since they have already been fire roasted and then frozen, this last step just makes them worn out and soft.
My husband and I ate the entire bag and that included 3 small fajita tacos each. It isn't as much food as it sounds - the tortillas are very small. AND we shared one sliced chicken breast between us. Those are the reasons why I would give it 3 stars. The reasons why I would give it 4 stars are because the food did taste good. Although the veggies were soft and kind of mushy, they were flavorful, and so was the chicken. I also like how the kit has everything you need, including tortillas.
The **T.G.I. Friday's Complete Skillet Meals **are also available in these varieties:
- **Sizzling Steak Fajitas **(Seared beef steak strips with fire roasted onions, green & red bell peppers)
- **Creamy Chicken Pasta Carbonara **(Penne pasta in a creamy sauce with vegetables, grilled chicken and topped with bacon bits)
- **Firecracker Sesame Chicken **(Breaded chicken, crisp carrots, snappy peas, lo-mein noodles and a sweet sauce with a flavorful kick)
- **Cajun Style Alfredo Chicken & Shrimp **(Blackened chicken & shrimp with red bell peppers, green onions, pasta and a Cajun-style alfredo sauce)
**Nutrition **(2 tacos): 290 calories, 8g fat, 35mg cholesterol, 990mg sodium, 34g carbs
This meal definitely will not feed three people. If you want to stretch this meal for three people, you are going to need rice, beans and other stuff too. Luckily, I decided to make guacamole before I even saw how small this kit was, so that made the fajitas even better.
