Does great at what it's meant to do. I received this as a Christmas gift one year, and was skeptical as to how well it would actually work. Blending Power It's not as good as my actual blender, but it is very good at mixing together mixed drinks. I don't think I would use it to make my fruit smoothies in the morning, but if I'm going to make daiquiris, mudslides, or margaritas, this is the machine I go to. Versatility I guess technically it's versatile because you could use just the blender, but I wouldn't, there are other blenders out there that are better. So for this machine isn't very versatile, I only use it for making frozen mixed drinks, which makes this a summer time appliance only. Ease of Cleaning frankly I find it kind of annoying to get the whole thing totally clean. Ease of Use Really easy to us, put the ice in the top, but the rest of the stuff in the blender, turn it on, and wait for your drinks. Design It looks taking and promotional. I guess that's the point since it's a promotional Margaretville machine, but it doesn't look good with the style and design on my kitchen. Durability I'm not sure on durability, I've only had a year, but it lasted through a summer season in Florida being used almost every weekend?

I received this as a Christmas gift from my husband. I love frozen margaritas, but every time I tried to make them in the past, it was a pain. My regular blender just would not cut it. But this machine blends the ice perfectly. You put the ice in the top compartment to be shaved, and you put your drink mixes and fruits in the blender part. You can choose to shave only, and the shaved ice will be dropped into the blender. (I used this function to make a frappuccino.) You can also choose to blend only, which will serve as a normal blender. When making a frozen margarita, you put your ingredients (tequila, triple sec, mix, any fruits you might want, etc) in the blender and your ice in the top. You flip the switch to choose how many drinks you are making, (1, 2, or 3) and then you choose to shave & blend. It's so easy with this machine. It could also make great smoothies, and like I mentioned before, frozen coffee drinks. Overall, this machine can serve many purposes, but as far as frozen margaritas go, it can't be beat.

This makes awesome frozen drinks! If you have a blender for making drinks, you are missing out. This thing grinds the ice perfectly and then blends to make awesome drinks. I use mine mainly to make mudslides, but it can make any frozen concoction ... even Margaritas! Blending Power This ice is perfect! Versatility Frozen concoction wonder! Ease of Cleaning Have to be careful with the blade, but just as easy clean as any blender. Durability I have had mine for over 2 years
