This mattress pad is wonderful! It heats up quickly and it is a good, thorough warmth, throughout the bed. I can turn it up high before I get in bed and then once I'm ready to sleep, I turn it down to the lowest setting for the night. I hate being cold while I sleep so this is a must-have for me!

This is the fourth Sunbeam product I've purchased, I've owned a heating pad, electric blanket and am on my second heated mattress pad. I live in Saskatchewan, Canada and in winter we get temperatures of -30c + and wind chill factors of -40c and higher. As soon as winter comes the mattress pad is on the bed. With Chronic Pain issues the soothing heat helps to relax muscles to help me fall asleep and helps getting me up and moving in the morning with my arthritis. Sunbeam makes great products and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. I love and need my heated mattress pad.

After spending a winter in our drafty house and freezing at night, I started looking for an electric blanket. We got a blanket but it just didn't seem to keep me warm. Then I saw a heated mattress pad. It was on sale so I tried it. It was nice but the controllers went out. After some research I found the Sunbeam Imperial Haven mattress pad to have some good qualities. After seeing it come on sale, I got one. Immediately we felt a difference between the Sunbeam Imperial Haven and the other brand. The top is padded and feels so nice. You cannot feel any wires whatsoever. We have a queen so my husband got one controller and I got the other. That is very nice since I like to be warmer at night than my husband does. It has 20 heat control settings and a preheat function to get your bed warmed up. It has an automatic shut off after 10 hours so you don't have to worry about leaving it on. It has nice sized sides that will fit even very thick mattresses. Plus they stay on, I've never had my sides pop off. It is worth every penny to get into warm sheets at night. Once when I forgot to turn them on, we were jolted by how cold our sheets were without our Sunbeam heated mattress pad. Plus it helps my achy joints and back feel so much better in the winter. I would highly recommend it to anyone.

When we were first married, we had the sunbeam dual heating electric blanket and we were pretty happy with it until our dog chewed through the cords.  Then awhile later, my husband bought a different brand dual heated mattress pad.  We loved the concept, but the product was terrible and we returned it the following day.  Then came the Sunbeam heated mattress pad - I absolutely LOVE it!  There is not one single thing I do not like. It fits my mattress SO well - we have a thick pillowtop mattress, so I was worried that I wouldn't fit, but the mattress pad is made with such deep pockets, it had no problem fitting our mattress.  The quality of the mattress pad is superior - it is so soft and comfortable!!  I love how it is dual controlled - it works great when I want my side of the bed warmer than my husband wants his!  It warm the bed VERY quickly and it has many different heat settings so that you can set it comfortably! I definitely prefer the heated mattress pad over the heated electric blanket!!  I am VERY pleased with this product and would HIGHLY recommend!  Well worth the money, for sure!!

My feet are always cold and I generally like it warmer in the house than my husband does so at least at night I can be super warm with my controller set to about 5 and my husband can be comfortable and have his set on Lo. It's like the Sleep Number Bed...only better if you ask me! Just last winter the heated mattress pad was a life saver, the furnace went out while my husband was on a business trip. I didn't notice it until 2am! I couldn't call anyone and I had no clue how to relight the pilot light. Luckily I had this lovely heated mattress pad to keep me warm in bed and as for the rest of the house...we have an EdenPure Heater that worked great too! You can feel the box at the end only if your feet seem to rest in the middle of the bed, and you can feel the warming wires with your hands if you are trying to. Otherwise all you feel if the great warmth that it provides!!
