I don't remember when I got my Sunbeam Carousel Rotisserie, must have been 6-7 years ago, but I still use it and it still works great. Here's what you do to make great rotisserie chicken: Use the skewer that comes with the Rotisserie, run it through the chicken from top to bottom, screw the bottom (it is threaded) of the skewer into the threaded receiver on the included basket (make sure the chickens legs are tucked neatly into the basket to avoid a greasy mess), slide the skewer and basket (now combined into one convenient piece that is holding the chicken securely) into the slot on the rotisserie, slide the door closed, set the timer, and walk away. The rest is automatic and it turns off when your preset time expires. Easy and makes a great chicken. The grease catcher pan beneath the chicken does a great job of catching the grease and clean-up is fairly easy, though the basket can require a little attention. You can also make other things besides chicken, it comes with a cookbook, but I use mine exclusively for chicken. I recommend this for easy bird.
