Only lotion I use

I use this because I have very dry skin and this works very well for me. It's the only lotion I use. Great value for product.

Lovely, sweet-smelling lotion

5

I really like Suave products anyway, and this lotion is no exception. It is a great staple lotion to keep on hand for when I want something that makes my skin feel nice and soft. I also really enjoy how it smells - anyone who loves the scent of baby powder will absolutely love this lotion! I have found that it works really well for people with sensitive skin as well as especially dry skin. Scent This has one of the softest, nicest scents of any lotion I have tried. It smells just like a fresh, clean baby, which of course I love, as a mother. The baby powder scent is so refreshing, yet it is soft enough that it is not overpowering to anyone sensitive to perfumes. Absorption This lotion absorbs so well and it doesn't take long at all to rub in! Effectiveness If you have mild to moderately dry skin, this is a great lotion to have on hand. Those with especially dry skin will probably not find quite what they're looking for, but it is great for everyone else.

Pleasantly surprised

4

I recently found a coupon in the Sunday newspaper for Suave products and decided to take advantage of some of the coupons. I usually use bath and body works lotions or Jergens or Vaseline. I don't have extremely dry skin I just like to maintain it so it doesn't dry out. My feet do tend to get pretty dry though. After buying this Suave Powder Fresh Body Lotion, I was pleasantly surprised to find out that I was as satisfied with this lotion as I was with the other lotions I was paying significantly higher prices for. It does the job and I love the bottle. The pump makes it so easy to use at any time and I actually use it more often because of the pump. It could be a little thicker, but for the price I have no complaints. Scent The scent strength is lacking, but overall its pleasant. So if you're looking for something that's not overwhelming, this would be great. Absorption I have had no problems with absorption like I usually do if I purchase cheaper lotions. Effectiveness I think overall it does the job its intended to do.

I LOVE THIS FRESH POWDER AND I CANNOT FIND IT ANYMORE!!

This is the only lotion that helps my skin. It has the right amount of moisture and it does not make it too moist where I get a rash with other lotions. I have looked for it in store the past two months and they revamped the smell. I do not like the new one AT ALL... The fragrance stinks like cheap perfume.

This lotion leaves you feeling fresh and soft all over

5

Since the first time my wife had lotioned up my back with this lotion I have enjoyed it! It is so creamy and it wraps your body in powdery softness especially after showering. You feel and smell fresh and my skin is so touchably soft according to my wife. It is a lotion for the entire family and contains skin smoothing baby oil. Scent I absolutely like this scent, has a soft powder scent not very strong, very relaxing Effectiveness If I slather the lotion all over after my shower, my skin usually stays soft until next day. Only exception is hand washing, I usually have to reapply to my hands afterwards each time

Suave Powder Fresh Lotion is just okay, sorry to say...

Suave Powder Fresh Lotion is just okay, I'm sorry to say.  I think it is just okay because of the ingredients that make up this product.  I was a little surprised.  This lotion is a little creamy and a little powdery in an odd way. The texture is strange to me. The smell of this lotion smells like baby powder, but I don't like the smell of baby powder, unless it's baby powder.  It smells like baby powder but odd smelling powder. Suave Powder Fresh Lotion doesn't really smell as fresh as I thought it would either.  I do like the container and the design and detailing on it.  It's cute.  I also like the size of it.  It is a big and generous size.  This lotion will last you a long time.  Months and months, I'd say.  The price of it is good as well.  The texture is just okay to me.  It doesn't make my skin feel as soft and smooth like I thought it would.  I do like the pumping action of the container, as it is super easy to dispense.  I only give this lotion "3 STARS" because of the reasons I stated above.  I would rate this product a "5" on a scale of "1-10".  Despite the reasons I think this product is just okay; you might like it, especially if you like lotions that smell like powder.

Lotion isn't the place to go cheap. This one's not very "suave."

Over the years I've used some Suave hair products that may not have been the bee's knees but were pretty good for the really inexpensive price. I can't say the same for Suave Powder Fresh Lotion. This lotion comes in a convenient pump bottle and has a fresh scent. That is where the compliments end. **Right away the lotion feels watery- I mean as if it might just run between your fingers!** When I applied this lotion at first I just felt wet and then sticky. It doesn't absorb well and I felt no long term moisturizing at all. In fact, I just felt like I wanted a shower and wanted to start over again with moisturizing my body. My Mary Kay hydrating body lotion may be more expensive but it works wonders and feels great. ***My Viewpoint:*** Suave has some decent hair care products but I take moisturizing my skin seriously. Suave Powder Fresh Lotion was very disappointing even for an inexpensive line of body lotion products.

Watery, cheap lotion

In search of a cheap way to combat dry hands, I chose this out of the row of Suave products because of the small subtext: 'With silk protiens!' How would that help? Would I notice it? I might as well see... The smell of the lotion is baby powder, for the most part, but also slightly medicinal. Consistency is very watery. As for the silk proteins, I'm still not sure if their mysterious power is at work. Other, more concentrated lotions made with such lowly ingredients as oatmeal seem to work better. Not greasy, though!

Suave Powder Fresh Moisturizing Lotion

2

It really does smell "Powder Fresh"...like baby powder, however I found it to be not as moisturizing as I like. It takes a little longer to absorb into the skin..I had to keep rubbing and rubbing until it soaked in. It's not as expensive as the Burt's Bees moisturizer I usually use, which is why I bought a couple Suave Moisturizer Lotions (I had just gone over my monthly beauty allowance and thought I'd try a cheaper brand so I could save some money). Big mistake! It's very fluid and feels watery. I tried it on my dry skin (on my arms) and the moisturizing affect lasted all of about 5 min (at most) before I felt like I needed more. I gave it another chance and used it on my dry elbows and on my feet (heels). I got the same results. I think I will be going back to my Burt's Bees lotion and will use the Suave Lotion up by keeping it in the bathroom and kitchen. I can use it after I wash my hands, although it won't help much.

Suave lotion is inexpensive and works fine

This lotion smells and pretty much acts like regular baby lotion, but is a bit cheaper. Baby lotion is a nice smell for hands, so I think it's great! The lotion is light pink and comes in a pump bottle. It doesn't soak in to the hands quite as effectively as some lotions, but on the other hand, it is not greasy. I have somewhat senstive skin and this product has not caused a problem. Use it on your hands, legs, knees, elbows, whatever.  This lotion seems to be part of a suave series, including aloe-containing lotion and all different kinds of scents. As usual for Suave products, it is inexpensive and alright quality. I would recommend this product for run-of-the mill dry skin, especially in the winter time or when subjected to air conditioning. I wouldn't recommend it for very dry, cracked skin, as it is thin and doesn't soak in well. A drier lotion might be better in such a situation, or Eucerin cream.
