I have had a true love of animal crackers since I was a kid. They have always been a dependable snack to get me through the day. The original Stauffers Animal Crackers were good, but the chocolate animal crackers are unquestionably delicious. My kids can bring a snack for the afternoon and I know that animal crackers are a healthier alternative to chips.

Stauffer's Animal Crackers have only 2 grams of fat and 7 grams of sugar per serving (approximately 16 crackers), so, even though they are not nutrient-rich, they are not too bad for you. They come in 13 animal shapes, so they are also fun and educational for smaller kids. They are definitely sweeter than your average cracker but not sweet enough to called a cookie. They are a nice simple product, but they are a little bland to my taste. If I'm going to eat empty calories, I want to really enjoy them.

I strarted teaching autistic support & found these snacks to be the best bang for your buck when used as a snack/reinforcer! My students respond well to edible reinforcement & found myself handing out gummie/M&m's on a minute to minute basis. These snacks offer a better health value and im able to break one cookie into many peices to distribute less food more times. Over the years I found myself praising the students & myself as its not easy to be tempted by candies all day long. Since switching Ive dropped a few lbs myself!! haha Great personal snack as well. Dip them in FF whip cream or peanut butter and have yourself a low fat and/or high protein snack. Enjoy!!

I love these as a snack! I find them yummy and you don't have to feel guilty for eating a good handful! They come in fun animal shapes so the kiddo's will be entertained! We used to give these to the kids at the Preschool I worked for, and it was a hit each time. They played with them them munched them all up and kept wanting more!
