Like the Duracell battery. Wonderful machine. Only one similar on the market is by OXO. For a family with one coffee drinker it is Wonderful.

Long Lasting Coffee

5

The Starbucks coffee maker is a great addition to any coffee lovers kitchen. I have had my Starbucks coffee maker for as long as I have been married and my wife brought the coffee maker to the marriage. So we have had this coffee maker for almost 5 years and it still makes a fresh delicious cup of coffee. We purchased a gold coffee filter for the maker and have been pleased. The maker is pretty standard and offers consistent cups of coffee that can be modified by the grind. We have enjoyed the sturdy frame and the double walled carafe. This feature keeps the coffee warm for several hours. I have even brewed a pot in the morning before work and have come home in the afternoon to a warm cup of coffee. Pretty impressive! For the most part the problems are with the cleaning. I do not like to clean after every use and so some coffee residue builds up in the cracks and crevices. Other than that, the coffee make is excellent and makes great coffee too!

Starbucks coffeemaker is great, very reliable

I recently purchased this coffeemaker as I am a starbucks addict, but daily starbucks adds up after a while.  I was hoping the coffeepot and coffee would supplant my starbucks habit and it definitely has.  This cute little coffee pot comes with a coffee bar style carafe for coffee with locking lid.  The machine is pretty easy to clean and is quite reliable.  I use the starbucks pre-ground bold coffee varieties in this machine and it tastes great, just like going to starbucks.  While this machine doesn't have a lot of bells and whistles like many other coffee pots/espresso machines out there it does the job.  I recently saw a matching starbucks espresso/latte maker and after purchasing this pot, I would definitely give the other units a go as well.  I have been quite pleased with the coffee pot and would definitely recommend it to others. The carafe is also great because I can make a pot and let it sit for a while, but the coffee will stay nice and warm inside this container.  Would definitely recommend this unit.

Starbucks knows their coffee!

While in college, I worked at Starbucks as a shift supervisor. I didn't need my own machine, because I could get a fresh cup at work everyday! After five years there, I decided it was time to move on and got another job. My last thing to do while an employee of this coffee giant was to purchase my very own machine for home. I decided on the **Starbucks Barista Quattro 4-Cup Thermal Coffeemaker**. It was stylish, compact and easy to use. I've had the machine for almost ten years now and it has never had an issue! I love it! The coffee maker makes delicious coffee- it you use quality beans and filtered water of course. I throughly clean it about once a week, and it doesn't take up much space on my counter. It brews about enough coffee for two, which is the perfect amount for my boyfriend and I! The Starbucks brand is a bit pricey, but for how long their machines last it's definitely worth it. I believe they come with a one-year warranty, and they have a hotline number if you need parts or have any questions.

Solid coffeemaker with great features!

We actually bought this coffeemaker after it had already been pretty well used, and it's still going strong! I really like the timed brewing feature; it's so nice to wake up to already-brewed coffee! The stainless steel thermal carafe is another great feature, especially for one who might otherwise forget to turn off the coffeemaker. It really keeps the coffee warm for a long time! It's also nice to be able to remove the back part of the coffeemaker for filling with water so that nothing else has to get wet in the preparation process. The only drawback that I've noticed is how precisely it is designed to fit together; if one part is slightly out of place (or becomes slightly out of place during brewing), the entire process goes wrong. There have been a few sad mornings where the carafe turns slightly during brewing somehow, and only half of the water makes it into the pot. A few other times, the water fill tank has popped off just slightly and caused the process to stop as well, but again, it's an issue that's relatively easily corrected. Overall, this is a solid performer and a great quality coffeemaker.
