Having used a variety of St. Ives lotions and being quite pleased I decided to give the St. Ives Mineral Therapy Body Wash a try. That was a mistake. This body lotion was one of the worst that I've used. My skin was super dry after using it. It doesn't lather well. The smell is not refreshing or invigorating. It smelled and felled like body wash that would be issued to patients in the hospital. I couldn't believe this was a St. Ives product. I always keep their lotions in stock so the quality of this was disappointing. Don't buy this body was unless you really enjoy fresh hospital. Effectiveness My skin was left dry. It actually felt like it was drier than before I took a shower. Usually, body washes give the skin a moist, soft, awake feel but that was not the case with the St. Ives Mineral Therapy Body Wash. Scent The scent is a seaweed smell but not a good seaweed smell. It has a medicated seaweed smell.

I'll admit to having a bit of anxiety when it comes to using anything made by St. Ives. I think that a few years back (okay, maybe 10 or so) I had an issue where I started to break out from different soaps. These were used in an effort to save myself some dough, so I invested in cheaper soap options. I figured, they all cleaned, right? Well, yes, but that also meant I would be dealing with a skin irratation to some of these brands. St. Ives was one of them. I think it was a scrub of some sort. Anyway, I digress. I decided to try this out and give ol' St. Ives one last fighting chance. I am glad I did. Not only can I score some amazing deals on this stuff, but it makes for a bit of an oasis experience using this product and others I have also tried recently. I would recommend this as it did not cause irritation and made me feel relaxed. It did not dry my skin or cause me to break out. Hooray!

This one is great!!! It has an amazing smell and is such a joy to use. I feel like a queen when I use this. This stuff smells amazingly delicious and has soymilk and citrus and all kinds of good ingredients in it. It has a lot of vitamins for ones skin health and is a pure white decadent color. I think the color really is what mesmerizes me about this because its so creamy and pearly looking. I think this body wash is my all time favorite normal store brand. The spa/salon type brands are sometimes better but they cost an arm and a leg. This is spa/salon quality and at a great price comparitively. I know this costs more than other choices but it is worth it. The quality will be felt after your first use, I guarantee it. It leaves my skin feel so soft and hydrating like I just took a mineral bath. I think this is the closest thing to that, actually. I would definetely recommend this luxurious and hydrating body wash. 5 stars!

St Ives Mineral Body wash provides good moisture to the body. I recently tried it because I wanted to try something that moisturizes my skin and protects it in this dry weather. And I am very satisfied with it. It is also very reasonably priced and has good fragrance. All in all a great product.

I used this up for one bottle. It was okay. I bought it because it seemed fancy with the "mineral therapy" and it's not expensive. I bought it from a drugstore. It foams up enough and leaves a clean feeling, but I didn't notice any change from using any other regular body wash. One complaint I do have with it is that it took a while for it to washes off. I kept feeling like I had some residue left on me, so I would have to go over my skin with the loofah again a coouple tims. But once I got it out it left my skin feelin clean and refreshed. And not dried out. I still want to try out the shea butter body wash by St. Ives because it seems like it would be creamier and lather up better. I won't be buying the Mineral therapy one again but any other St. Ives product I've used is great, especially their face washes!!! They are great exfoliators. I don't know if they have exfoliating body washes as well but I'm going to check next time.

I've been buying this body wash forever. My mom always used st. ive's products. I've grown up with them. This is cheap, smells oh so good.. a nice fresh clean smell.. very moisturizing. I feel so good after every shower and I smell good too. I love the most that it's so cheap. Everything St. Ive's makes is great :)

**St. Ives Mineral Therapy Body Wash is very soothing and clean smelling. It keeps my skin clean, moist, smooth and nice smelling. The body wash rinses very clean, which is surprisingly hard to find in a body wash, so many of them leave a gummy feeling on my skin and washcloth.  I really like the different herbal scent: so many of the body washes are overly sweet, too flowerly, too fruity. The herbal scent is very relaxing and comforting without being overwhelming or immature. It is a very refreshing wash, leaving you feeling clean and invigorated. The soap is thick and lathers up easily, spreading easily with lots of coverage, so it doesn't take too much for a good shower. I tend to shop around and buy different body washes, but I seem to always come back to the St. Ives Mineral Therapy Boday Wash. It smells great, it's very reasonably priced compared to comparable products, and it leaves my skin incredibly soft. It really is the best body wash available, plus the bottle lasts a long time since the soap is thick and lathers so well!**

I have been using this body wash for over a year and I love the feeling of this body wash.   It seems to clean and moisturize my skin better than any other body wash I've used. It doesn't feel greasy, it leaves my skin looking healthy, and it  smells lovely.  It is a good medium range body wash.  What i mean by "medium range" is that it is not as greasy as oil and just oily enough to soak in and lock in moisture for my dry skin.  I do have extremely dry skin, so get a sample bottle or small bottle if you have oily skin.  I often have reactions to different skin products and St. Ives never causes me irritation, acne, or any other problems. They always deliver the best products.  I would always recommend their products to anyone with dry/sensitive skin.  They also have a corresponding moisturizer that is wonderful.  The mineral therapy body wash is one of the only body washes I have ever tried that actually did moisturize and still clean my skin.  I love it.  I tried to switch to another moisturizer recently (I'm a moisturizer junkie) but then switched back to the mineral care.  As far as i'm concerned, it just can't be beat.
