I take acidophilus because I'm prone to yeast infections and it helps me avoid them. My only problem with this brand is it has no type of coating on it so it's very dry and hard to swallow. I'm the type of person who can swallow a whole handful of pills at a time but these scare me sometimes when they get stuck in my throat!
