I dye my hair a lot. Seriously, a lot. I change up the color often and switch mainly between two brands. The brand I use depends on the color I want. For vibrant deep blue, I always choose Sparks Electric blue. I get so many compliments and people always ask how I get my hair to be so vibrant. Well, first I bleach it. I always bleach it before dying it any bold color. Second I use Sparks hair dye. Like any semi/Demi dye it is going to rinse out a bit every time you wash. My trick to help it last longer is to mix about a quarter of the dye with 3/4 of my conditioner. It will help refresh the color. The one thing I will say is it always rinses out of my roots first. The healthiest and newest hair always repels the dye quickest. These over bleached and abused ends however, hold on to color like you wouldn't believe. I do have to touch up my roots more than I'd like and it really doesn't stay. Otherwise the rest of my hair goes remain bold. I honestly think this is all dyes and not just this brand. By far it's my favorite brand for blue and I've had multiple people tell me it's the best color I've ever had (and I've probably had them all)
