I was very hesitant to purchase the South Shore Majestic Dresser, but it really has proven to be a quality piece of furniture. The wood isn't top of the line, but it feels much denser than I expected and it has a nice gloss to it that doesn't attract fingerprints. The drawers are huge inside and can be filled to capacity without compromising its structural integrity. I was blown away by the sturdiness of this dresser. I can open a drawer filled with clothes without shaking the flat screen television on top of it. Even though the drawers sit on plastic grooves they slide out with very little force. The only downside I have encountered with this dresser is that it scratches easily. I tossed my keys on the dresser and thought nothing of it until I discovered several tiny scratches left behind. I would definitely recommend the South Shore Majestic Dresser because it is a quality piece of furniture at a low cost.

This is one of my favorite pieces of this collection. It has large drawers, it has handles and not knobs, it has six separate sections, and to top it all off, it is nice and long so my 42 inch TV actually fits on it without any danger of it falling off. The dresser is great because I can use it to serve two functions. It blends in with all of my other dressers and it works as a TV and media storage for our bedroom. Although it is a dresser, we are currently using it as a TV stand. I have my TV set up in the center and a PlayStation set up with it. In the drawers I have separate storage compartments for my different games and other systems. I have full systems stored in the drawers that are older and I also have my controllers and games stowed away inside. The drawers work out great because they are so large that I don't have any trouble fitting a Nintendo and a dozen games inside. Each drawer is dedicated to a particular system and media. I also have one drawer completely full of gaming magazines and strategy guides. Overall this is a nice dresser but it's working out just great at a TV stand until we finish remodeling.

I purchased a pair of these about a year ago for my son't bedroom. I like the long lines of the dresser - the design is modern without dating itself terribly. The design and styling is also neutral enough that I expect to continue to use these as my son grows (he is not quite three). The dressers were easy enough to assemble - each one took a little over an hour. It does help to have two sets of hands to keep things square. Once assembled the dresser is sturdy and has held up to a year's use without complaints. The drawers open and close smoothly, without sticking. They are also very quiet, which is an especially nice feature for a child's room. The finish on the dresser is decent - not the best, but I was simply looking for a nice neutral clothing storage option for a child so I am not overly concerned about it. Overall, I would recommend this dresser to someone looking for a simple, relatively inexpensive neutral dresser with decent storage volume.
