Sony makes wonderful products and the earbuds are no exception. You will need to buy several if you jog or sleep with your Ipod since the wires don't last. Sound Quality True to life and not tinny. I prefer Sony to other brands. Performance Unfortunately there is no sound control as other brands offer so if your ipod volume is too loud at its lowest setting you are stuck. I like to fall asleep to music and podcasts when I can't sleep and some are just too loud. A sound control on the earbuds makes all the difference. Battery Life No batteries needed. Durability One earbud always stops working because the wire disconnects or something like that. I have several pairs of these where only one ear works. Design Needs volume controls and stronger wires for durability.
