I know that all the latest research indicates that multivitamins aren't of much value. However, I have a crazy wor and home schedule and travel a lot so I like to fall back on this for covering the vitamins I miss while dashing around. When I checked the label on the Solgar bottle, I found the formula to be nicely balanced with what I'm likely missing. I'm pretty sure I need the amount of various B vitamins found in this formula. On the other hand, I didn't want the iron found in many other multivitamins. The Solgar brand includes a lot of minerals as well as vitmains and makes it clear the sources for each component. Yes, the price tag for Solgar products in always high, but I feel the quality matches the price tag. One likely reason for the high price tags is the number of herbs used in the formula. I find Solgar vitamins at good health food stores wherever I travel.

We started using this brand of vitamins and supplements years ago. We were impressed with the fact that they package in glass bottles (so you can see what you're buying beforehand) AND it's an amber bottle, which protects the contents from excessive sunlight. They package their pills carefully with cotton in the top so they don't shake around too much. The tops of the bottles have a shrink wrap plastic seal and there is also an inner lining/seal that you need to break before getting to the inside of the bottle. They take safety seriously. We like their products. They have many choices in both size of pills as well as size of bottle and the type of pill, whether it be a gelcap, capsule, liquid, or any other formula. There's something that pleases every family member. We are also very pleased that the majority of their vitamins are not synthetic, but naturally derived. When we want a specific item in this format, we look to this brand to provide it.

I began using Solgar's VM-75 multivitamin tablets in 1982 after a few years of using their high-potency B-complex with good results.  I come from a family of people who suffer a good deal of physical, mental, and emotional stress and fatigue, all of which are helped somewhat by really high amounts of B vitamins.  Adding the other vitamins to this mix, and getting them all into just one tablet a day, made wondrously good sense to me.  It's also nice that this is a vegetarian formula that doesn't use cheap synthetics like the dl- forms of Vitamin E - the body knows the difference!  Through the years I've watched parts of the formula for VM-75 change - I remember when it contained 1,000 IU of Vitamin D instead of 400, for instance - but it still meets my needs for many nutrients.  I do realize there's only so much of my daily needs that can be jammed into one pill (unless I want to take a pill the size of a baseball), so I do take calcium and some other nutrients in addition to the VM-75, but I do believe it to be the best multivitamin I can take.  For the record, I've tried other brands with what looked like the same formula, but for some reason they left me feeling like I hadn't been taking my vitamins, so I've always gone back to VM-75.

I've been taking Solgar's VM-75 tablets for years. Along with providing daily vitamins, they've improved my skin, have strenghtened my nails - they grow quickly as does my hair.  I love these vitamins.

The solgar brand VM75 multivitiman is a great vitamin for total nutrition. Just looking at the side of the bottle, compared with other multivitamins on the shelf, confirms that the VM75 has more rams per pill of neccessary nutritional suppliment. And it's allergen free, for those f us with food allergys, so an adverse reaction is not a problem. My only concern was the size of the vitamin, but once i took it for the first time I realized that was not an issue. If you want to stay healthy and keep healhy use the Solgar brand VM75
