Solarcaine Medicated First Aid Spray (great for sunburns)

4

I think that Solarcaine Medicated First Aid Spray works well for minor burns, but especially how it works on Sunburns. I've used many different remedies and treatments over the years for sunburns since I am fair skinned and tend to burn easy. The Solarcaine is awesome for taking away the pain of the burn immediately. It cools down the skin and burning as soon as you spry it on and last for awhile, unlike a vinegar bath or rub down that gives comfort right away but doesn't last more than 5 minutes or so. The Solarcaine doesn't leave a greasy feeling on your skin if used approprietly. The cost is a bit more than some, but less than others. The smell isn't too bad although you can smell it's a medicated spray, but its not an awful stinky smell. I would recommend Solarcaine for fast prompt relief for sunburns and minor burns. Remember if the burn is more than a 1st degree burn or minor 2nd degree burn, seek medical attention

I have transparent white skin. I am super white. I could probably get burned by walking outside. The sun loves me. I try and try to keep the sunscreen on, but I always manage to get burnt really really bad at least once per summer. One summer, **the burn was so bad that I blistered. I love Solarcaine!! It saved me!** The best part about the product is that you can spray it on and it is instant blessings from heaven pouring down on your skin. Aloe Vera (spelling?) is ok when you have a so so burn. I especially like using aloe off the plant. But no one wants anything rubbing against their body when they have a bad burn. This spray is worth every cent. Buy it! But also stock up on sunscreen so that you will not need the product. That would be my best advice.  This product is a must for packing for your child going to summer camp. I promise you that they don't provide this product at most camps. You child will make lots of friends. Everyone will love him and he will love you as well. :)

Over Memorial Day weekend we went on a quet camping trip in the local mountains.  On our first full day we decided to go on a hike throught the mountains and into the valley, past a beautiful peaceful lake.  I diligently sprayed myself with sunscreen but I was wearing a sweatshirt when we left the campsite, as it was a bit chilly.  Once we were a ways into the hike I got warm and took my sweatshirt off, exposing my neckline which, due to the hood of the sweatshirt, did not receive it's proper share of sunscreen.  Needless to say; through the tadpoles and lizards, horses and rattle snakes, I got burned- badly.  The next morning we went to the market and got some aloe, which did no good.  We came home and went straight to the drug store and the Pharmasist recommended Solarcaine Medicated Spray.  I immediately went home and sprayed it on my neck and the tops of my shoulders.  It gave me instant releif and a pleasant cooling sensation on the purnt area.  It did provide releif of the burn for about thirty minutes without getting sticky like aloe vera does.  I have the remainder of the can under my bathroom sink for the next time I neglect to properly shield myself against the sun.  I would recommend this to anyone suffering from a burn.
